Hebrews 4:14-16

(King James Version)

Seeing then that we have a great

high priest, that is passed into

the heavens, Jesus the Son of

God, let us hold fast our

profession.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

JESUS CARES FOR YOU

Hebrews 4:14

JESUS FEELS FOR YOU

Hebrews 4:15

For we have not an high priest

which cannot be touched with

the feeling of our infirmities;

but was in all points tempted like

as we are, yet without sin.

For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin.

LUST OF THE FLESH

When the devil said to Jesus, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”

LUST OF THE EYES

The devil showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and told Him, “If You will worship before me, all will be Yours.”

Jesus said, “It is written” and quoted Deuteronomy 6:13.

Temptation #3

PRIDE OF LIFE

The devil said, “Throw yourself down from here” saying, “It is written” and quoted Psalm 91:11-12.

Jesus quoted Deuteronomy 6:16.

JESUS IS HERE FOR YOU

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly

unto the throne of grace, that we

may obtain mercy, and find grace

to help in time of need.

It is Written…

… I am the LORD who heals you.” (Exodus 15:26)

… I will take sickness away from the midst of you. (Exodus 23:25)

… I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds.” (Jeremiah 30:17)

It is Written…

He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (Psalm 107:20)

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19)

… He will make an utter end of it. Affliction will not rise up a second time. (Nahum 1:7, 9)

It is Written…

O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me. (Psalm 30:2)

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. (Psalm 118:17)

This is my comfort in my affliction, that Your word has revived me and given me life. (Psalm 119:50, Amplified Version)

He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes. (Psalm 105:37)

No one who lives in our land will ever again complain of being sick, and all sins will be forgiven. (Isaiah 33:24, Good News Translation)

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23, King James Version)

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

James 5:14

Is anyone among you sick?

Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
