WHY HAVE WE CHOSEN THIS TITLE?

• We as a group decided on the name ‘No Means Yes’ as it links to the film we are basing our teaser around staring ‘Jim Carey’ in ‘Yes Man’.

• Not only this but it also fits with the teaser trailer we are creating and goes with the story line.

WHAT IS OUR FILM ABOUT?

Our teaser trailer is based around the film ‘Yes Man’ and therefore has a similar story line, however it has a student lifestyle appeal to it.

The story line is a male student in his college years that is reluctant to try new things and is relatively academic. All of his friends are always trying to get him to come out to parties etc, and he always says no.

However, after he becomes interested in a popular girl in the same year as him, his lifestyle changes to saying YES to a lot of things that will involve trying to impress her.

Hense the genre ‘Comedy’.

WHO ARE THE MAIN CHARACTERS AND WHAT ARE THEIR CHARACTERISTICS?

In our teaser trailer Harry will be acting as the male student (academic student) called ‘Sam Davis’, his characteristics vary throughout, as at the beginning he is relatively quite and negative towards doing new fun things. However after becoming interested in the popular girl his characteristics change to more outgoing and fun.

Playing the ‘popular’ girl called ‘Jodie Hudson’ will be Jess and her characteristics are stuck up around her friends to impress them, however deep down she is a nice person.

Emma will be acting as one of Harry’s close friends called ‘Gemma Montez’ who constantly tries to get him to come out with her and other friends. Her characteristics are funny, out going and nice.

INFLUENCES?As mentioned before our main film we are going to base ours

around is ‘Yes Man’ starring ‘Jim Carrey’ this film is the base of our whole idea and comedy concept.

Fred has also influenced us as the clothing he wears is like the clothing we are going to use in our trailer.

MARKETING

The scale of of film is a Hollywood blockbuster.

This is the campaign for ‘Yes Man’, this is a viral video and attracts the media, almost like a sneak peak before the film is released.

For our teaser trailer we would follow this idea by also making a viral video of some type of stunt or funny scene to release before the trailer to again, attract the media.

We would also use billboards as they are effective at getting the film well known and making and audience before the film comes out.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Our target audience for out teaser trailer is targeted at roughly the same age as our initial ideas from ‘Yes Man’. However it’s a little different as it is targeted more at the college aged students rather than a wider ranged age group.
