Ellen Joachim

Ellen is an Activity Assistant who is al-ways willing to go above and beyond

the call of duty to make others happy. Her sense of humor and kindness is

evident in everything she does and we feel so lucky to have her here. :)

Time goes by so quickly. I can remember as a

child that time seemed to stand still. I just

couldn’t wait to be 16, go to college, get a job

and get married. NOW, time flies by and some

days I’m not sure what I managed to accom-

plish. It has been a pleasure to be the Executive

Director and to interact with such wonderful

residents, families and staff.

So, as we move into 2014, we are looking for-

ward to new adventures. We will have a Valen-

tine’s Day Ball, a Saint Patrick day Party, display

of new paintings from different museums, more

adventures in the van and much more….

Please know that my door is always open…So

feel free to come and visit. Have a Happy and

Healthy New Year.

Did you Know………. There is an Activity Cart located in the back of the Reflections Dining Room. It is there to pro-vide lots of things that the fami-lies or friends can do with the Residents when visiting. There are various sensory boxes, puzzles, coloring items, magazines, books, trivia and word searches. Case of wooden Board Games which includes Chess, Checkers, Backgammon and Chinese Check-ers. Various Elder Games which are Memory Stimulation Activity

February 15th We will be having a Valentine’s Day Ball with Live Music

and lots of Dancing! A King and Queen will be chosen so…. Wear your

best Ball Gown and Suits. A special dinner will be served in the Dining

Room at 5:30 and the festivities will follow directly after at 6:30 in the 1st

Floor Living Room. Friends and Families are welcome. No sign up neces-

sary for Residents. Guests please sign up with the Concierge.
