Dear Friends,

We hope you are doing well as the summer

nears and that you find yourself more

delighted by God each day. Whether we see

you on a daily basis or whether it has been a

while since weve connected in person, weare blessed by your friendship.

We are grateful for our relationship with you,

and so it is with great excitement that we

share with you some BIG ways God is

moving in our lives. For some time, we have

been praying that God would show us the

next step in pursuing our calling as cross-

cultural missionaries.

God has spoken to us through Luke 10,

where Jesus challenges us that the harvest

is plentiful, but the workers are few. Christcommands his disciples to go out and

proclaim the Kingdom of God has come

near to you!

God has shaken us with a conviction to

make His glory known among all peoples, as

the disciples did so many years ago, by

bringing the love of God to the darkest

corners of the world.

We have accepted a unique opportunity to

take part in the World Race program

(www.theworldrace.org). Start ing in

September, we will backpack through 11

countries in 11 months on a challenging andexciting missionary journey.

We will spend each month in a different

country, partnering with local pastors to

serve and support their ongoing ministries,

while seeking to learn from them. This

special format provides the opportunity to

experience many kinds of ministry, and

through this we hope to more fully

understand our gifts and callings.

We will go as part of a small team of 8 others

who will travel, learn, and live togetherthroughout the year. We know this will

radically transform our understanding of

community! We expect great sacrifices and

greater rewards.

During our time overseas, we will ...

Preach the good news of Gods Kingdom

Teach English and other elementary subjects

Care for orphans and widows

Fight human trafficking

Build friendships with Muslims and Hindus

Minister through sports evangelism

Provide practical ministry support

(food distribution, construction, etc.)

Pray with and encourage believers

Engage in meaningful conversations

Help strengthen local faith communities

... and whatever else God calls us to

do along the way!

Through all these activities, our goal is to proclaim the

Kingdom of God has come to you, in word and in

deed.

We know we will not be able to do this alone. We know

that when God calls us to go out into the world, he is

also calling others to join us in the adventure.

Were asking each one of you to pray and consider

joining us in our journey. We wont make it alone! You

We are unendingly grateful for all of your love, care, and

support. May God bless you richly. May your journey of

knowing Christ make each day an adventure worth

living!
