  • Slide 3

  • Slide 4
  • Click Destiny Quest on the left for a different view of the library!
  • Slide 5

  • Search for the book Zamba by entering the search term and clicking title.
  • Slide 8
  • This screen gives you information on the book, including author and copyright date. Note that the library has one copy, but there are no copies available. That means our copy is checked out. If you click the title or details by the green arrow, you get still more information.
  • Slide 9
  • Here you see a summary of the book, and a button if you want to put it on hold. Under Explore!, if there is a find it at the end of a line, you can click it for more books on that subject.
  • Slide 10
  • If you log in, you will have a My Info tab showing what you have checked out and when it is due. The resource lists link on the left is for book lists you have created. You can also view your checkout history and fines and place holds for books you want.

  • Slide 12

  • Slide 13
  • After doing a search, click on the One Search tab to see Internet and database information. If the search lasts too long, click get results to see what has already been found.

  • Slide 17
  • Here is the information you need for your Works Cited page. You can even choose a different format instead of MLA if you need it.
  • Slide 18
  • Most of the databases will give you the citation information.
  • Slide 19
  • One Search also uses educational search engines instead of general search engines like Google. These articles will not have citation information, but they have been evaluated and are more reliable than those found by a Google or Yahoo search.
  • Slide 20
  • Finally, there is a way to do One Search and find books, websites, and database articles all at once!
