RUGBYLINK the ARU’s new data management

system has with a new player levy scheme forced an adjustment in ERUFC’s membership fees for 2015 and 2016. RUGBYLINK is designed to enable members to register themselves online but requires everyone to have a credit card and an active email address. Each personal registration transaction on RUGBYLINK also attracts a 2.9% credit card

processing fee. These factors, and technical issues with the new system have convinced the management committee that it is best to proceed with registration offline in 2015, but please be aware that the club is obliged to make the transition to 100% personal online registration within 3 years.

The registration paperwork for 2015 will be unfamiliar but where possible a limited number of club volunteers will be able to enter your details directly into RUGBYLINK.

New Sign Always on the “to do” list...the club is going to up-date the sign on the Bridge Street entrance to the car park.

Sheren Electrics to the rescue...huge thanks are

due to Grant and Shelley who rescued our beer fridge; saving members from warm refreshments this summer, and the club from an expensive repair bill/ fridge pur-chase. Grant generously fitted 3 fan motors and a new condenser, donating his time, expertise and the parts.

New Team Shirts for the

A Grade Premiers, the Under 18s and the Under 8s . The latter team had the distinction of the oldest set of jerseys in the club.

Junior Gold Raffle: U15s Andre Jones U17s Elliot Turner The lads are selling raffle tickets to help fund the National Junior Gold Program. Please support them by buying a $5 ticket; first prize in the raffle is an all expenses paid trip for 2 to a domestic Wallaby’s test.

A huge thank you to Adrian Richards who is volunteering many unrewarding hours to unravel the detail of the new database/results management/website/team app system. Please be kind with respect to any visible hair loss Adrian may be suffering —the transition to the new system is fraught with many unresolved issues for ERUFC..

Please note that there will be no personal online registration by our members in 2015. ERUFC officials will be doing returning and new member registration into RUGBYLINK on Registration Day, Sunday 15 February.
