Israel Entrepreneurship Tour • What? Israel Entrepreneurship Tour is a project of Start_Comillas with the idea of visiting the main institutions, R&D centers, business incubators, venture capital funds and start-ups in Israel • Why Israel? According to a study carried out by Telefónica Digital and Start-up Genome 5, Israel is the second most important innovation and entrepreneurship hub in the world, only after Silicon Valley. Not in vain it is known as the Start-up Nation • Who? It is targeting students, alumni, professors and researchers of Universidad Pontificia de Comillas who want to find business, job or research opportunities in Israel or simply learn more about this exciting environment. • When? Leaving Madrid on June 7th (Saturday) and coming back on June 15th (Sunday) • Funding In principle, participants’ own resources. The total cost including all expenses is estimated to be 1500€/person. This includes flights Madrid-Tel Aviv-Madrid, accommodation, food and transport within Israel.

Israel Entrepreneurship Tour What do we expect from the companies? We would like them to present themselves to us, show us their facilities and explain us the following things:
• What they do/make/commercialize
• The history of the company/institution. How they started the company and get financed round after round
• How the company is organized and the profile of the workers.
• What markets they target and why
• Why they think Israel is a success in R&D and entrepreneurship
• What is their opinion of Spain from their business perspective
• What opportunity they may see to collaborate with Start_Comillas and Comillas-ICAI-IIT more broadly (internships, jobs and joint-research)
