PROGRAM DESCRIPTION SPONSOR LEVELS

Innovative Teaching Grants awarded annually to promote innovative teaching $1,000+& Counseling Awards methods. Over $1 million has been awarded to more Awarded in March than 700 teachers and benefitted over 100,000 students since the inception of this program.

Afterschool Classroom Innovative enrichment classes taught by experienced $1,000+Enrichment (ACE) instructors in areas such as science, art and music on Year-round Program IUSD campuses after school. Nearly 6,000 students enroll in ACE classes each year, with scholarships offered to low income families.

IPSF Summer Enrichment Summer classes for K-12 allow students to explore interests and $2,500+Academy (SEA) enhance academic skills. Over 5,000 students benefit from Summer Break SEA each year with scholarships offered to low income families. Classes are open to students throughout Orange County. Tournament of IPSF organizes a series of city-wide sports tournaments to $2,500+Champions promote school spirit and unite the Irvine community. These Year-round tournaments provide fun opportunities for physical sports education and character development for thousands of students, their families and community members.

Irvine CubeSat Provides STEM educational resources to students with the intention $10,000+STEM Program of inspiring the next generation of innovative thinkers. Teams of students Year-round at five high schools are joining forces with industry partners and experts to assemble, test and launch a CubeSat (nano-satellite) into low Earth orbit. Program places an emphasis on creating opportunities for under-represented groups, including girls and minorities.
