Inuyasha and KagomeLife After the Final Act

Chapter 1

The sun shined brightly in the feudal era. Kagome turned over in bed. She opened her eyes. "Hey, you awake?" asked Inuyasha. Kagome smiled. "Morning Inuyasha", she said. "Morning. How did you sleep?" he asked. "Good. You?" said Kagome.

"Pretty good", said Inuyasha. Kagome yawned and saw it was passed sunrise. She gasped. "Oh no! I was supposed to go see Jineji at sunrise!" cried Kagome. "Don't panic, get dressed", said Inuyasha.

Kagome nodded and quick got dressed in her kimono. Inuyasha carried her to Jineji's farm. 'I have been living in the Feudal Era for nearly a year. Inuyasha and I have been married for nearly a year. I have been going to Jineji's to learn more about healing', thought Kagome.

They arrived at Jineji's farm. "Jineji! I'm sorry I'm late!" cried Kagome. Jineji looked and smiled. "It's all right", he said kindly. "I'll pick you up by lunch time, ok Kagome?", said Inuyasha. "Ok! Love you!" said Kagome as she kissed Inuyasha's cheek. Inuyasha blushed and his dog ears folded back.

"Yeah…love you too", he said. He then ran off. Kagome smiled.

Inuyasha ran back to Kaede's village and he saw Miroku. "Hey", said Inuyasha. "Oh, you dropped Kagome off at Jineji's already?" asked Miroku. "Yeah", said Inuyasha. "You know, in only 2 weeks is the anniversary of your marriage", said Miroku.

"I know. I wanna do something special for Kagome", said Inuyasha. "Well, you have some time", said Miroku. Sango suddenly came out of their house. "Miroku! Quit slacking! I need some help with the kids!" yelled Sango.

"Yes ma'am!" said Miroku. Miroku sighed. "I'll see you Inuyasha", said Miroku as he went in the house.

Two weeks later Inuyasha was leading Kagome somewhere. "Where are you taking me Inuyasha?" asked Kagome. "Keep your eyes closed Kagome", said Inuyasha.

"Ok…open them!" said Inuyasha. Kagome opened them and saw a dozen cherry blossom trees, it was a full moon and they were right by a beautiful lake. Rose bushes were everywhere.

"Inuyasha…", said Kagome softly. "Well…I wanted to show you a nice place for our anniversary", said Inuyasha. Kagome smiled.

"Inuyasha", she said. She then hugged him tightly. Inuyasha smiled and lifted her up off her feet.

"I love you so much Inuyasha", whispered Kagome. Inuyasha and Kagome's eyes locked.

They then kissed. They held tightly onto each other. After the kiss, Inuyasha placed his hand on Kagome's cheek.

"Oh Inuyasha…", said Kagome.

The two sat by the lake as they watched the full moon. Kagome was in Inuyasha's lap and he had his arms around her. 'Kagome's heart is pounding…like she's excited. Plus she is so small in my arms…', thought Inuyasha.

Kagome sighed and nuzzled into Inuyasha's chest. Inuyasha's ears folded back and he smiled.

"Well, I guess we should exchange presents now", said Kagome. "Sure", said Inuyasha. Kagome smiled. "Ok, close your eyes!", she said.

"Ok", said Inuyasha.

"Ok Inuyasha open them!" said Kagome. Inuyasha did and saw that the beads that make him 'sit' were off and were replaced with a golden necklace with a heart shaped locket at the end.

"Huh?" asked Inuyasha. "Open it!" said Kagome excitedly. Inuyasha did and saw the two photos inside of Kagome and him. "Kagome…", said Inuyasha softly.

"I finally trust you. You don't need those beads anymore. Besides, that necklace suits you more!" said Kagome smiling. Inuyasha smiled.

He then gave Kagome her present. Kagome saw it was a flower hair clip. "It's beautiful Inuyasha…!", said Kagome. She put it in her hair. "You look cute", said Inuyasha.

Kagome smiled. "You know Inuyasha…I was kind of wondering…", said Kagome blushing. "What?" he asked.

Kagome took Inuyasha's hand. "I see", he said.

Inuyasha carried Kagome back home and they soon were both in bed. "Oh Inuyasha….", said Kagome.

By very early in the morning, Inuyasha awoke. Both him and Kagome were undressed from lovemaking and Kagome was fast asleep and laying on Inuyasha's chest.

Inuyasha smiled and stroked Kagome's hair. "Kagome…I truly do love you. I don't know what I'd do without you…", whispered Inuyasha and then he fell back asleep.

Later in the morning, Inuyasha awoke to the smell of breakfast. Inuyasha yawned and got dressed. He saw Kagome cooking.

"Morning", he said. "Oh, morning you!" said Kagome smiling. "Breakfast will be ready soon", said Kagome.

Inuyasha yawned. "How early is it?" asked Inuyasha. "It's only 8 in the morning", replied Kagome.

Kagome then gave Inuyasha his breakfast and they started eating. "So, you going to Jineji's today?" asked Inuyasha. "Nope, I have a day off", replied Kagome. "What are your plans?" asked Kagome.

"Kaede wants me to help her with some wood", said Inuyasha.

All of a sudden they heard noise from next door, Miroku and Sango's house. It was screaming, crying and crashing.

Kagome sighed. "Can we please move?" growled Inuyasha. "If you mean a few houses down, it's possible", said Kagome.

"It wouldn't make a difference! The whole village can hear them in the morning!" said Inuyasha. "How many kids do they have?" asked Inuyasha. "Three", replied Kagome.

Inuyasha sighed and hid ears folded back. Suddenly, they heard a knock on the door.

"Who could that be?" asked Kagome. "Probably Miroku coming over to hide", growled Inuyasha. Kagome got up and opened the door. She looked and saw it was Shippo.

"Shippo!" cried Kagome happily.

"Kagome!" said the little fox demon as he hugged her. "It's been a while!" said Kagome. Inuyasha walked over. "Well, if it isn't Shippo", said Inuyasha. "I see you haven't changed", said Shippo.

Suddenly they heard something crash over at Sango's. "What the, is Sango killing Miroku?" asked Shippo. "If she is, it's slowly", said Inuyasha.

While Inuyasha went to help Kaede, Shippo and Kagome spent time together by the river.

"So Kagome, how did your anniversary go?" asked Shippo. "It went great!" replied Kagome smiling. "You two have been married for a year now…and still no kids", said Shippo. Kagome blushed.

"Kids? Well…no", said Kagome. 'Come to think of it…Inuyasha isn't a fan of kids…but…it would be nice to have just one", thought Kagome.

Chapter 2

The next morning, Kagome awoke to Inuyasha talking to Miroku. She yawned and opened her eyes. "Kagome, you awake?" asked Inuyasha. Kagome sat up. "Yep", replied Kagome rubbing her eyes. "What time is it?" asked Kagome. "It's nearly noon", replyed Inuyasha.

"Seriously?" cried Kagome. She sighed.

"So, what's up Miroku?" asked Kagome. "I came over to mention about something I saw in the forest", said Miroku. "Go on", said Kagome.

"Well, I was going for a walk and noticed this beautiful woman", said Miroku.

"You’re married and you still flirt…that's pretty bad Miroku", growled Inuyasha."Anyway…", said Miroku changing the subject and clearing his throat.

"This woman had a strange aura. She was not a demon or a human. Suddenly, a villager was walking passed her and she turned him into a demon", said Miroku.

"What?" snarled Inuyasha. "Is that even…possible?" asked Kagome. "I didn't think so until what I saw", said Miroku.

"Kaede said she was going to go check it out", said Miroku. Kagome got up. "Well, I can't let her go alone", said Kagome. "I'm coming too", said Inuyasha. "No, you should stay behind and guard the village", said Kagome.

Inuyasha growled. "But what if something happens to you?" asked Inuyasha. "I'll be fine", said Kagome.

Kagome went and got a black horse from the stable and followed Kaede, who was also riding a horse, to the forest. "From what Miroku explained, this woman seems very unworldly", said Kaede.

"I agree", said Kagome. Suddenly, they both felt the aura. "Kagome…", said Kaede. "I feel it too", said Kagome. "Let's tie the horses here so that we are not noticed", said Kagome.

After the horses were tied, Kagome and Kaede saw the woman. "So that's her", said Kagome. "I don't understand, she is not human or demon", said Kaede. "Is she half demon?" asked Kagome. "No", replied Kaede.

"Look, there's a villager!" cried Kagome. The villager was walking and noticed the strange woman. "Who are you?" asked the villager.

"Hmmm", muttered the woman. Then she held out her hand. A strange red power came out and blasted the villager.

Kaede gasped. Kagome watched and saw the villager transformed into a spider demon. "I can't believe it…!" cried Kagome.

Kagome then grabbed her bow and arrow. "Where are ye going?" asked Kaede. "Stay here Kaede", said Kagome.

Kagome aimed and pointed her arrow at the woman.

"Oh? Another victim?" asked the woman. "Who are you? Name yourself!" yelled Kagome.

"I call myself Michiru. Master of Transformation", replied the woman. 'Transformation? It is not any innocent fox demon magic though', thought Kagome.

"What are you? You are not human or demon!" yelled Kagome.

Michiru looked at Kagome. "You'd make a fair cat demon", said Michiru. Michiru was about to use that power again.

Kagome shot a sacred arrow and it hit Michiru's arm.

"A sacred arrow? A priestess…my transformation won't work on you", said Michiru.

"Quit babbling and tell me what you are!" yelled Kagome aiming another arrow. "You'll know soon enough. For now, we part ways", said Michiru, then there was a strong wind and she was gone.

"Kagome!" said Kaede running over. "Are ye all right?" asked Kaede. "Yes. But it would be best to stay in the village", said Kagome.

Kagome and Kaede returned to the village. Inuyasha saw them. "Hey, how'd it go?" asked Inuyasha. "It would be best ye and the rest of the villagers stayed out of the forests", said Kaede.

Kagome and Inuyasha were in their house and Kagome finished explaining what all she saw to Inuyasha. "Sounds pretty damn weird to me", said Inuyasha. "I know", said Kagome.

"Well, I am going", said Inuyasha. "To where?" asked Kagome. "To go kill that thing", said Inuyasha. "Inuyasha, you can't! We don't know anything about her", said Kagome.

"So?" asked Inuyasha. Kagome sighed. "Besides, it's not like you can tell me to sit and I will stay", said Inuyasha. Kagome then got an idea.

"Inuyasha…", she said. Kagome then started tickling Inuyasha's dog ears. "Hey, come on Kagome!" said Inuyasha, but he sat back down, enjoying Kagome touching his ears.

Kagome then lay on top of him. "We'll worry about that later you", said Kagome.

The two made love and fell asleep. Kagome snuggled close to Inuyasha. Kagome was in a deep sleep when she was awoken to a sharp pain in her stomach. Kagome opened her eyes. She sat up clutching her stomach.

She then felt like she was going to throw up and rushed out. Inuyasha awoke and he saw Kagome wasn't in bed. "Kagome?" he asked.He sat up and got dressed.

He then saw Kagome come back in. "Hey, you ok?" asked Inuyasha. "Yeah…", replied Kagome. Inuyasha got up. "But you're so pale", said Inuyasha.

"I just threw up, that's all", replied Kagome. "Maybe you should rest tomorrow", said Inuyasha. "I'm fine, really", said Kagome.

The next morning, Kagome went to talk with Sango. "Hey Kagome", said Sango. "So, Miroku's at home with the kids?" asked Kagome as they walked along side the river.

"Yes", replied Sango. "So, what's up Kagome?" asked Sango. Kagome sighed.

"Well…I think…I think I might be pregnant", said Kagome. Sango's eyes widened. "Seriously?" asked Sango. "Well, I have been having stomach pains, throwing up, sleeping and eating more…", said Kagome.

"Does Inuyasha know?" asked Sango. Kagome shook her head. "I have no idea how to tell him", said Kagome.

"Well…you'll have to tell him soon", said Sango. Kagome nodded.

While Kagome walked home, she was doing a lot of thinking. 'The child will be half dog demon…I just hope Inuyasha won't be mad', thought Kagome.

She then saw Inuyasha at home."Inuyasha…", said Kagome softly. "Hey Kagome, where were you?" he asked. "With Sango", replied Kagome as she walked up to him.

"Kagome, you look on edge", said Inuyasha, his dog ears folded back. Kagome sighed and held Inuyasha's hand.

"Inuyasha…I…I'm pregnant", said Kagome. Inuyasha's ears perked up and he looked shocked. "Kagome…", he uttered.

Kagome was scared he would be mad since Inuyasha always hated kids, but then he hugged her. This hug was so gentle and romantic, when he pulled her into his arms and held onto her tightly.

"Inuyasha…", said Kagome. "Kagome…I…I'm happy for us", he said. Kagome looked up at him. He truly was.

"Inu…yasha", said Kagome and she kissed him. After the kiss, Inuyasha smiled. "Come on you, shouldn't we start planning names?" asked Inuyasha as he picked her up and carried her back in the house. Kagome smiled.

Chapter3

Trust

Four months have passed and Kagome and Inuyasha were at home. "Inuyasha…you look worried", said Kagome. "I just am on edge since we haven't killed that thing yet…", said Inuyasha. Kagome leaned her head on his shoulder.

"I know", she said softly. Suddenly, it started raining. Inuyasha and Kagome looked and saw it was pouring. "Rain?" asked Kagome.

"Well, by the looks we'll be home all day tomorrow", said Inuyasha. Kagome nodded.

Suddenly Inuyasha sniffed and looked outside again. "Inuyasha?" asked Kagome. "I can smell demon", said Inuyasha."Demons?" asked Kagome. Inuyasha nodded.

"You stay here Kagome", he said, and ran out. Kagome sighed, worried.

Inuyasha ran through the village and saw 10 demons. "What the hell?" he said. "Are they all left overs from Naraku's castle?" asked Inuyasha. He then ran up to them. "Iron Reaver soul stealer!" barked Inuyasha.

Three were killed. "Damn it!" barked Inuyasha pulling his sword out.

"Wind Scar!" he yelled. The rest were killed. Rain poured down and it was starting to thunder. Inuyasha ran back to home.

He came inside. "Inuyasha! You're soaking wet!" cried Kagome worriedly. She quickly got a towel and dried him off. "I'm fine Kagome, you worry too much", said Inuyasha.

"I have to you know. There was a time I thought I would never see you again", said Kagome. Inuyasha's ears perked and he recalled the time when she was trapped in her own time for three years.

Kagome finished drying him off. "There", she said. "Hey Kagome…", he said. "Yeah?" asked Kagome. "I'm…really glad you were able to come back to this time", he said. Kagome smiled and set the towel down and sat down next to him on their bed.

"I'm glad too Inuyasha", she said.

"Besides, what would your ears do without me?" asked Kagome as she started tickling them. "Hey, come on!" barked Inuyasha. Kagome then crawled in Inuyasha's lap as he held her.

The next morning, it was still raining hard just like Inuyasha predicted.

Kagome and Inuyasha decided to relax at home. "This rain is horrible", said Kagome. "I wonder if it's an omen", said Inuyasha. "You mean because of that woman?" asked Kagome.

"Yeah", replied Inuyasha. "I don't understand. She's not human, not demon and not even half demon", said Kagome. Inuyasha sighed. "Well, I haven't met her yet, but I don't like her", said Inuyasha.

"It's weird though…somehow her aura is slightly familiar", said Kagome. Then it hit.

"Wait a minute! I know what she is!" said Kagome. "What?" asked Inuyasha. "I couldn't tell because I wasn't close to her…she carries the same aura as Kikyo!" cried Kagome.

"Kikyo? So then…she's dead?" asked Inuyasha. Kagome nodded. "Yet…it's still unclear if she is human or demon", said Kagome.

Inuyasha sighed and looked out the window again.

Kagome still was doing thinking. Suddenly…

"Oh!" cried Kagome suddenly, startling Inuyasha. "What is it Kagome?" he asked running over to her. Kagome had her hands on her stomach.

"Inu…yasha…", she said softly. "Are you in pain?", he asked.

Kagome suddenly took Inuyasha's hand and placed it on her stomach. "Feel that Inuyasha?" asked Kagome. Inuyasha's ears perked up when he felt the baby kicking for the first time.

"Is that….?" Asked Inuyasha.

Kagome nodded. Kagome had such a gentle and soft look in her eyes, it made Inuyasha feel just as happy.

The rain continued for a few days. Many of the villagers stayed in their houses. Inuyasha would go out once in a while since he gets restless.

The next morning, Kagome awoke to see it was no longer raining, but it was cloudy. Kagome got up and she heard Inuyasha and Miroku talking outside the house.

"What? That woman is near here?" barked Inuyasha. "Yes. This could be our chance", said Miroku.

Kagome got dressed into her kimono and got her bow and arrow. Kagome came out of house. "I'm coming too", said Kagome bravely. "Are you nuts? You can't come when you're expecting!" barked Inuyasha.

"I'll be fine. I won't let you fight her alone!" said Kagome. "Please, a dead woman will be nothing for me Kagome", said Inuyasha.

"You haven't seen her yet, trust me, she's dangerous!" yelled Kagome. "Well, I'm going with Sango", said Miroku trying to make the peace.

"What about your kids?" asked Kagome. "Kohaku is going to watch them", said Sango coming over. "Kohaku's here?" asked Inuyasha.

Then they saw Kilala come over. "We're going on ahead", said Miroku and he and Sango climbed on Kilala's back.

They flew off. "I'm coming with you Inuyasha", said Kagome.

Inuyasha sighed heavily and knelt down. "Get on", he growled. Kagome nodded and climbed on his back.

By the time they got there, Sango and Miroku were battling demons. "What's going on Miroku?" asked Inuyasha. "Inuyasha, these demons were once humans!" explained Miroku. "Where's this woman?" asked Inuyasha.

"She's right there!" yelled Sango. Inuyasha saw her. "So, you're the dead woman who has been turning humans into demons?" snarled Inuyasha.

"I call myself Michiru. And you…seem to be a half demon", said Michiru. Inuyasha growledand pulled his sword out. "I don't have time for this!", he yelled.

"WIND SCAR!" screamed Inuyasha. The woman hand grabbed the sword and blocked off the wind scar. "The wind scar is gone!" cried Sango. "If she can touch Inuyasha's sword, she has to be human!" cried Kagome.

Inuyasha jumped back and skidded.

Then Kagome saw that strange power from Michiru's hand. "Inuyasha! Get away from there now!" cried Kagome. "I got it Kagome, don't worry!" barked Inuyasha.

Then the power shot off and directly hit Inuyasha. Everyone starred. "INUYASHA!" screamed Kagome.

Then they saw what Michiru turned him into. They saw a giant white dog demon with razor fangs standing before them."Inuyasha…", cried Kagome.

Inuyasha roared. "Now dog demon, kill that girl!" said Michiru. Inuyasha roared and ran for Kagome. "Kagome!" cried Sango. Kilala quickly grabbed Kagome to save her. Kagome saw she was on Kilala's back with Sango and Miroku.

"Let me go! I can't leave Inuyasha behind!" cried Kagome. "Kagome, we need a plan! If you go to him now, you'll be killed!" said Miroku. "I'm not leaving Inuyasha! No way!" yelled Kagome.

She then jumped off of Kilala. "Kagome!" cried Sango. She landed on Inuyasha's shoulder and slid down to the ground.

He was so enormous like a dog demon. She only got up to his ankle. "Inuyasha…! You got to snap out of it!" cried Kagome.

He hugged his fur tightly. Inuyasha roared, showing all fangs.

Suddenly, Inuyasha grabbed Kagome with his fangs and bit into her arm, back and legs. Kagome was half hanging out of his mouth. Kagome looked up and saw Inuyasha's red eyes stare at her.

Blood splashed down to the ground. "Kagome!" yelled Sango fearfully. With her free arm, Kagome still clutched tightly onto Inuyasha's fur. "I love you as a half demon Inuyasha!" cried Kagome.

"You can rip me to shreds if you want! But I don't want you to end up like this! I won't give up!" cried Kagome.

"Inuyasha please! INUYASHA!" screamed Kagome. Sango noticed something mixed with the flood of blood, it looked like water. It was tears of Kagome's.

Suddenly, Inuyasha stopped biting her and roared loudly. "What's wrong dog demon? Kill her!" yelled Michiru. Inuyasha eyed Michiru and with his claws slashed her head off.

He then suddenly roared and Kagome fell out of his jaws. "Kagome!" cried Sango. Kilala caught her before she hit the ground.

Suddenly, they saw a bright light and Inuyasha changed back to normal."Inuyasha…", said Miroku. Kagome looked.

"Inuyasha!" she cried. She ran toward him. Inuyasha saw Kagome running toward him. She was covered in blood and tears. "Inuyasha!" she cried as she wrapped her arms around him tightly. "I was so scared! I thought I had lost you!" cried Kagome.

Inuyasha looked down at her. "Kagome…", he said. He then hugged her gently. "Kagome…I am so sorry! I could have…killed you", growled Inuyasha. "But you didn't", said Kagome.

Then Inuyasha thought of something. "Kagome! Is…the baby all right?" he asked. Kagome nodded. "Yes", she said. Inuyasha hugged her again tightly.

Miroku saw the head and body of Michiru. Miroku quickly purified it. "So, that woman couldn't be killed by Inuyasha's sword but could by purification?" asked Sango.

"Yes. She couldn't rest in peace without it", replied Miroku.

"Kagome…", whispered Inuyasha as he continued to hold her.

The group went home and Kaede treated Kagome's wounds.

Chapter 4

TsukiInu

Five more months have passed. It was a late night and Inuyasha was up watching Kagome sleep. He was more on edge since she was due anytime.

Inuyasha watched her sleep, with his dog ears folded back. 'There have been a lot of demons lately. I have to protect Kagome', thought Inuyasha. Kagome turned over in bed. Inuyasha watched her and stayed up all night.

By morning, Kagome awoke and sat up. "Hey", said Inuyasha. "Morning Inuyasha. Didn't you get any sleep?" asked Kagome. "Well, yeah, a little", lied Inuyasha.

Kagome then looked out the window and noticed it was snowing. "Inuyasha, it's snowing outside!" cried Kagome excitedly. Inuyasha looked and saw it was.

"It's so beautiful!" cried Kagome. "Come to think of it…it is December", said Inuyasha."Yeah. And in a week it will be a lunar eclipse", said Kagome. "Really?" said Inuyasha.

Kagome then got her coat, boots and mittens and went outside. "Come on Inuyasha!" she said. Inuyasha went out to. "I cannot believe how much is already on the ground", said Inuyasha.

Suddenly, he felt a snowball hit him. "What the?" asked Inuyasha. "Got you!" giggled Kagome. "Hey Kagome, get back here!" laughed Inuyasha. They had a snowball fightand then they saw Sango, Miroku and their kids playing in the snow too.

"Dad, help us make a snowman!" said Miroku and Sango's little girls. "Yeah, one with fluffy ears like Uncle Inuyasha's!" said the other. "Ok, ok", said Miroku.

Sango went over to see Kagome. "Kagome, how are you feeling?" asked Sango. "I'm feeling pretty good today even though I am due anytime", said Kagome. Sango smiled.

"Sango, help!" said Miroku, who was being buried by the twins. "Oh, coming! Girls, daddy isn't the snowman!" cried Sango running over. Kagome giggled.

"By the way Inuyasha, do you know how to make a snow angel?" asked Kagome. "No", replied Inuyasha. "Ok, here's how you do it", Kagome got down on the ground and spread her arms out like wings.

"Help me up Inuyasha?" she asked. Inuyasha helped Kagome up and he saw the angel shaped figure in the snow. "Hey, that's neat!" said Inuyasha. "Why don't you try?" asked Kagome.

"This will be a piece of cake", said Inuyasha as he lay down and did the same. He got back up and saw the head had two horn like marks. "They’re from my ears", said Inuyasha."It looks more like a snow devil then a snow angel", said Kagome. Inuyasha and Kagome played outside until dark.

The snow continued for another week. It was the night of the lunar eclipse. It was 8:00 PM. Inuyasha was getting worried since Kagome was late.

Kagome was sleeping in bed when Inuyasha heard a knock at the door.

"Inuyasha", said Miroku. "Yeah?" he asked. "There's demons coming toward the village", said Miroku.

"What?" growled Inuyasha. "Sango, Kilala and me are going to slay them. You stay here with Kagome", said Miroku. "All right", said Inuyasha, ears folding back.

After they left, Inuyasha watched as the snow fell. "It might turn into a blizzard…", said Inuyasha. He put some more wood on the fire.

Inuyasha's ears perked up when he heard Kagome moan. "Kagome?" he asked. Kagome clutched the blanket and seemed to be in pain.

"Kagome, what's wrong?" asked Inuyasha as he put his hand on her shoulder. Kagome opened her eyes. "Inu…yasha…", she muttered weakly.

She then cried out in pain and clutched her stomach. "Kagome!" growled Inuyasha worriedly.

"Inuyasha…I think it's time", said Kagome weakly. Inuyasha's eyes grew wide and his ears folded back. 'Of all times? When we're alone?' thought Inuyasha.

"Kagome…are you sure?" growled Inuyasha scared. Kagome suddenly took Inuyasha's hand. "Yes. Inuyasha, don't panic. It will be all right", said Kagome. "What can I do?" asked Inuyasha.

"Just hold my hand", replied Kagome so calmly that it scared Inuyasha. 'How can she be so damn calm!' he thought to himself.

The blizzard continued…along with Kagome's labor.

Off and on Kagome would cry out or scream in pain. It seemed like it was taking forever, but it had only been 6 hours and 20 minutes.

Finally, Kagome suddenly clutched Inuyasha's hand very hard. "Inu…yasha…this is it", cried Kagome. "I need you…to go get those towels over there. Inuyasha nodded very nervously.

"Now what?" he asked. "Hold my hand", she said. Inuyasha did so. Kagome cried out in pain and held tightly onto Inuyasha's hand.

Kagome was in true agony. It killed Inuyasha to do nothing but watch. Kagome screamed, cried, moaned and clutched at Inuyasha's hand.

"Hang in there Kagome!" growled Inuyasha fearfully.

It seem like hours have passed, when it has only been 10 minutes. It was 2:30 AM.

At the time, a lunar eclipse was happening.

Kagome screamed slightly. "Inuyasha!" cried Kagome. Then…there was a sound that stunned Inuyasha. It was over.

He heard the sound of a baby crying.

Inuyasha quickly cleaned her and wrapped her in a blanket. She was beautiful and little. She already had slightly long hair and had dog ears. Her hair was all black and wavy.

The baby opened her eyes and she had red eyes. "Kagome…", said Inuyasha. Kagome opened her eyes and saw what Inuyasha was holding.

"Kagome! She's here…", said Inuyasha. "Let me…hold her", said Kagome. Inuyasha helped Kagome sit up and Kagome held their new baby.

"She looks just like you Kagome", said Inuyasha. "Yes…", said Kagome as she smiled down at the baby. "Inuyasha…this is our daughter. She's so perfect", said Kagome. Inuyasha smiled and wrapped his arm around Kagome's shoulders.

"You were…very brave Kagome", said Inuyasha. "So were you", said Kagome. "What shall we name her?" asked Inuyasha.

Kagome then noticed through the window it was a lunar eclipse. "TsukiInu", she said.

After Kagome breastfed TsukiInu, their new daughter was fast asleep. Inuyasha lay down next to Kagome, who was also asleep. Inuyasha got an extra blanket for both of them since it was winter.

Suddenly, he heard someone. He saw it was Miroku and Sango. "Inuyasha…", said Miroku.Both he and Sango then noticed the baby.

"Inuyasha…", whispered Sango shocked."Hey", said Inuyasha. "Inuyasha…what's her name?" asked Miroku as he and Sango sat next to Inuyasha. "TsukiInu", replied Inuyasha.

"She's adorable", said Miroku."Inuyasha…you helped Kagome?" asked Sango shocked. Inuyasha nodded. "Kagome was really brave", said Inuyasha.

Sango smiled. "Well, all the demons are slain", said Miroku. "We'll see you guys in the morning. Oh, and if you need anything, we'll help", said Sango. Inuyasha nodded.

Inuyasha got back in bed with Kagome after Sango and Miroku left.

Chapter Five

Family

It was a bright sunny day. Suddenly two small demons were running through the forest from someone. "IRON REAVER SOUL STEALER!" yelled the person who was chasing them. The two small demons were killed.

"Damn, the demons around here are so weak!" growled 4 year old TsukiInu. TsukiInu then saw a bunch of trees. "All right!" she growled and she used them as scratching posts. "Man, my claws needed this!" she said.

Suddenly her dog ears perked up when she heard something. She stopped scratching when she saw it coming closer.

She then jumped up. "BLADES OF BLOOD!" she yelled. "Whoa, whoa, whoa!" barked Inuyasha, the one who was coming toward her as he dodged the attack.

"Oh, it's you dad", said TsukiInu. "No problem. You're pretty good", said Inuyasha. "So, what are you doing here anyway?" asked Inuyasha. "Just practicing my powers", replied TsukiInu.

"Well, you're doing pretty good", said Inuyasha. Four years passed and TsukiInu had already learned two attacks from her father's side and new spirit power from her mother's.

When it came to looks, TsukiInu was a lot like Kagome. She had long black wavy hair, she wore a red kimono and also she had red eyes that glowed in the dark. She had black dog ears.

When it came to personality, she was just like Inuyasha. She had his attitude, stubbornness, recklessness, and rudeness. She was truly daddy's little princess though.

"So, we better get back home before your mother gets mad", said Inuyasha. TsukiInu's ears folded back. "Already? Man, she's always bossing me around", said TsukiInu.

"Race ya to home!" said TsukiInu. She and Inuyasha ran home and TsukiInu beat him.

"Damn, you're quick…", said Inuyasha out of breath.

"Come on you two, it's dinner time", said Kagome. "Hey mom!" said TsukiInu running up hugging her mom. "Hello TsukiInu", she said.

"Miroku and Sango sure are in over their heads", said Inuyasha as he ate. "I saw Uncle Miroku asking some village women to bear his children…whatever that means", said TsukiInu as she ate.

"What? Sango will kill him", said Kagome. "They already have 6 kids and he's out still doing that", said Kagome. "What does 'will you bear my children’ my dad?'" asked TsukiInu.

"Huh? Oh, well…it's means when a woman…will have a man's kid", replied Inuyasha. "How does that happen?" asked TsukiInu her ears perking up.

"Well, let's see…they get in a bed together and…", before he could finish Kagome jumped on him and stuffed his mouth with food. "Are you crazy? TsukiInu is still too young to hear all that!" yelled Kagome.

TsukiInu tilted her head slightly but then continued eating.

At bedtime, while TsukiInu was sound asleep, Inuyasha and Kagome were in bed together. "Inuyasha…it's been a while you know", whispered Kagome. "Since what?" asked Inuyasha.

Kagome climbed on him. "You know what", she said. Inuyasha smiled.

After a long night of lovemaking, they both were fast asleep in each other's arms.

By early in the morning, all of a sudden Inuyasha and Kagome awoke to TsukiInu jumping on them. "Come on you two! Get up! Mom, you have to go to Jinenji's farm and dad, you promised to go meet Miroku today!" barked TsukiInu.

Kagome groaned. "All right sweetie. It's not like we won't get up", said Kagome as she got dressed into her kimono. Kagome yawned and went to make some breakfast.

"Dad! Get up!" yelled TsukiInu as Inuyasha slept. She then tackled him.

"Damn, he's a deep sleeper!" growled TsukiInu. "TsukiInu, what did I tell you about swearing?" said Kagome. "Sorry. But daddy swears constantly", said TsukiInu."Well he's older", said Kagome.

"Dad, get up!" growled TsukiInu, she then bit his dog ear with her fangs. Inuyasha yelled in slight pain and woke up instantly. "What the hell was that for?" he barked."You wouldn't wake up!" said TsukiInu.

"I was having a good dream though" said Inuyasha. "That's it!" said Inuyasha as he grabbed TsukiInu to pull at her ears. "Hey!" she growled. "Payback!" teased Inuyasha.

TsukiInu then bit his arm. "Hey, let go of my arm you animal!" barked Inuyasha. "Ok, settle down you two!" said Kagome.

After breakfast, Kagome went to Jinenji's farm while Inuyasha and TsukiInu went to go see Miroku.

"So Miroku, you going to rip people off again?" asked Inuyasha. "Come now Inuyasha, I just need more money then my customers can give me", said Miroku. "Uncle Miroku, what do you do to get money?" asked TsukiInu.

"Well, I drive away evil spirits", said Miroku."Are there any evil spirits?" asked TsukiInu."Most likely", said Miroku. Inuyasha sighed."Plus I have

more expenses now. I have the six kids and Sango is pregnant again", said Miroku.

"How does Sango put up with it?" asked Inuyasha. "Good question", said Miroku.

They then arrived at a house. "Well, I have been sensing a strong demonic aura from your home. I feel the need the perform an exorcism right away", said Miroku to the family.

"All right monk. But we cannot pay you much", said the man. "No worries", said Miroku. "Now, I will go in now. And no matter how alarming it will sound, do not look inside", said Miroku.

He then walked in. "Didn't you give the same story last week?" asked TsukiInu. They heard a bunch of crashing.

Then Inuyasha and TsukiInu saw Miroku living from the back.

"Let's go", said Inuyasha. They left before the family could notice anything. While walking home, Miroku had piles of things worth money.

"You sure rip people off", said Inuyasha."Yes, well…that's a sacrifice us monks must pay when we have a large family", said Miroku.

"Yeah right, you enjoy this. Besides, you did this stuff before you even knew Sango", said Inuyasha.

After parting, Inuyasha and TsukiInu raced home and saw Kagome was home. "Hey youtwo", said Kagome. "Hey", said Inuyasha."Mom, Uncle Miroku ripped people off again!" said TsukiInu. Kagome sighed.

"Inuyasha, you let her see Miroku steal stuff?" yelled Kagome. "Oh come on", said Inuyasha.

"Well, while TsukiInu and you were with Miroku, I found something out", said Kagome smiling. "What is it mom?" asked TsukiInu. "Spill it Kagome", said Inuyasha.

"What can I say? I'm pregnant", said Kagome. Inuyasha's ears folded back all the way. 'Already?' he thought nervously.

"Inuyasha…", said Kagome. "Kagome…that's great", he said as he hugged her tightly. "Oh, I'm glad you think so", said Kagome softly.
