The founders and promoters of AVONE are primarily technocrats than businessmen. The

Directors of the company, Mr. A.K. Verma and Mr. Vipin K. Goel are qualified Electrical

Engineers having worked with reputed organizations like M/S CIMMCO BIRLA LIMITED & M/S

McNally BHARAT CO. LTD. The brainchild to form this company came after acquiring vast

experience in all the activities related to this field by putting in several years in some of the

major organizations manufacturing Custom - Built Low Tension Switchgear. With a battery of

seasoned Project Managers, Electrical Design Experts, Production & Quality Supervisors,

Experienced Commissioning Team and Aggressive Marketing Team, today AVONE stand as an

established name in electrical industry. As a result of this experience, we are quite conversant

with the specific requirements of Power Plants; Sugar Mills; Paper Projects; Cement Plants /

Projects; Chemical & Process Plants; Tyre Plants, Airports conveying system, Building and various

other Industries. We have dealt with almost all the consultants in India like EIL, DCPL, MECON,

H&G, KPGL, Holtec, etc. We have been manufacturing this equipment in accordance with the

specifications of various clients and their consultants. With support from all our customers we

for Sonapur (Nepal) and RNB (Shillong) cement plants. Both plants are running with great

satisfaction of our respective customers. Also, we have prime expertise in executing electrical

projects for Crushing and Screening Plants of Sandvik, Stackers and Reclaimers of Jai Prakash

Associates, and others.

Our Expertise and Certifications

record of success that has carried from a modest beginning to the present stature as a big group

with a fast growing turnover and expanding spectrum of activities.

Further, below are the few special factors we would like to draw your attention to:

1. We are licensed A-class contractor by State - Government.


2. Our Motor Control Centers are designed for 50 KA for 1 second and have been successfully

tested at CPRI, Bhopal.

3. We manufacture panels in accordance with IP-53, IP-54, IP-55 and IP-65 environmental tests.

4. The outdoor Feeder Pillars for lighting have been successfully tested for required degree of

protection i.e., IP 65 & salt spray tests at National Test House (NR), Ghaziabad.

5. All our fabricated panels are treated and painted at the profound painting workshop of

Northern India along with seven tanks pretreatment process of sheet steel. After

pretreatment, each coat of surface and paint is completely baked.

6. Power coating is done immediately after Pre-Treatment and then panels are baked to

required temperature in automatic temperature controlled oven.

In a short span, we have executed orders for a number of major projects. Our customers, actual

users and their consultants have, of course, inspected these supplies and found to their

satisfactions. We have been getting repeat orders from our clients which speak of their

confidence in us.

We have exported various Panels to various countries in Europe, South East Asia, South America

and various African Countries through our main equipment supplier and exporters. The panels

meet the safety guide lines of Europe and have passed the rigorous testing from experts from

Sandvik, Sweden and TUV for CE certification.

BRIEF CONSTRUCTION FEATURES OF MCC

1. FABRICATION : Frames, Load bearing Members, large door : 2 mm thick

Small doors, shrouds, Partitions : 1.6 mm thick

Bases and Gland Plates: 3 mm thick

2. CONSTRUCTIONS : Vertical structure is necessarily welded Together to provide strength / stability and rigidity. However, each vertical section is bolted together to form a continuous assembly of panels.

Each vertical section is provided with pre-determined punched holes / slots for vertical adjustment of compartment size. Partitions between two modules are bolted to the structure. The compartments are made of modular section and each module size can be changed at later date even at site - this is achieved because of bolted construction. Such bolted construction leads to greater flexibility. Each vertical section has 1800 mm space available for feeders. Such flexible (vertically) arrangement of compartments is achieved without the need to cut / re-weld / repaint horizontal members.

The lowest & highest terminals are at 350 mm/1900 mm from ground level.

15. GASKET : Special expandable gasket is provided which ensures proper dust tight environment. The gasket has additional fins on its sides to provide friction so that it does not come out of its groove.

16. DOOR HINGES : Bolted or screwed. Between two metal surfaces, a small nylon washer is provided so that the paint is not scratched.

PRE-TREATMENT / PAINTING PROCESS

After welding, grinding and complete deburring the fabricated sheet steel panel goes through “SEVEN TANKS” pretreatment process. The complete process is as follows:-

1st TANK : This tank is a bath of degreasing chemicals which is a blend of ionic & non-ionic wetting agent with silicate & phosphate etc which is free from caustic soda. This tank is bath of degreasing chemical. The job is completely dipped in this tank for 20 - 25 minutes. Concentration of chemical is 5-7%. The chemical is heated upto 60˚C.

Free floating oil which is removed from the sheet surface starts re-depositing on the bath surface hence everyday the top layer of chemical solutions is discarded.

2nd TANK : After all oil / grease is removed, the job is rinsed in running water tank for 1- 2 minutes. All traces of degreasing chemicals are removed.

3rd TANK : The fabrication is dipped in de-rusting chemical bath for 15-20 minutes depending rust scales. The bath is made of 25% solution. Metal sheet reacts with the acidic bath which evolves hydrogen leading to embitterment of sheet. The chemical reaction is accompanied by heat generation, formation of gases & foam. These reactions are undesirable therefore an inhibitor solution is added which acts as wetting agent and also fulfills the pickling process besides protecting the base metal. The inhibitor prevents drag-out losses of pickling acids & forms a layer of fume absorbing foam of the acid bath.

4th TANK: The job is again dipped in running water tank for 1-2 minutes so as to remove all traces of derusting chemical.

5th TANK : The fabrication is dipped in a chemical bath of phosphatising solution which basically contains rich zinc phosphate with suitable cationic catalyst to promote coating mechanism at a lower temperature. The job is dipped for 10-20 minutes for proper adhesion of chemical. Concentration of chemical is 5 - 6%. The chemical is heated between 40 - 50 Degree C.

6th TANK : To remove all traces of above chemical once again the job is dipped in running water for 1-2 minutes.

7th TANK: The fabrication is again dipped in a chemical bath for passivation. The job is dipped for 1-2 minutes. Strength of passivation solution is 0.05% - 0.1%. The chemical is heated between 60-70 Degree C.

The time for dipping the job in various chemical tanks depend purely on the magnitude of scale and grease etc. besides, it also depends on the ambient temperature to which all chemicals (except 3rd

To check whether degreasing is properly done or not, water is thrown on the sheet surface. If a continuous water film is formed then degreasing is proper, but if there is a break in the water film then it would indicate that surface is not properly degreased. Then the job is to be dipped again and process needs to be repeated.

tank) are heated. The temperature for each chemical is as specified by the manufacturers of the chemicals and is as mentioned above. All the objects before removal from each tank are properly agitated so that there are no traces of liquid / water or sludge on any portion of the job.

After checking as above, the job is taken to a large booth. The size of booth is enough to accommodate at least one vertical section and few small doors etc. at a time. The job is hung in the booth properly through monorails and powder is sprayed with the help of powder gun. The powder is stuck to the job because of electrostatic charge. Thereafter, the job is taken to an electric oven where powder coat is baked at a temperature as recommended by the manufacturer. The temperature and duration of curing varies from shade to shade and manufacturer. Powder coating gives a better aesthetics finish.
