iris orange app set up and
running on your Android
tablet / secondary
smartphone so that we
can start collecting data
about your media
consumption.

Step #1
Once Google Play Store has opened on the
“Ipsos iris orange” page, please tap ‘Install’
The app will begin to download and install.
Once installed, tap ‘Open’
Ipsos iris orange will then begin the process of
“configuring”, this should take a few seconds.
Once complete, tap “Continue” to begin the
setup.
Note: The instructions listed
on this document may vary
depending on the device
model being used.
Please tap on the link we
have sent you by email /
SMS message.
This will open Google Play
Store and put you onto the
“Ipsos iris orange” app
page.

Once done, tap “Sign
In”

You will now be prompted
to allow permission for
Ipsos iris orange to create
a VPN connection, tap
“OK”

Tap “Next”
Note: You may at this point be
prompted to enter your
lockscreen password/pin –
please enter this.
Now, you will receive a prompt
to save the Ipsos iris orange
certificate, please tap “OK”

Enable Accessibility Service
• Tap “Next” – this will
open the accessibility
settings for your Android
tablet / secondary
smartphone.
• Find & tap on “Ipsos iris
orange”
• Tap once on the toggle
and tap “OK” on the
ensuing popup

• Tap “Next”
• Finally tap “START

Find and tap “Ipsos iris orange” to turn OFF the toggle
Some devices may need to tap “Don’t Allow” / “Don’t
Optimize”
Step #9
Disable Battery Optimisation
Devices running Android 6.x and higher include battery optimisation features
which may close our app whilst running in the background.
• To prevent this impact, please carry out the instruction below to disable
battery optimisation for the Ipsos iris orange app.
Note: The exact location of this setting may differ depending on device model
used. You can search “battery” in the phone “Settings” app which may bring up
the relevant setting for your device.
Open your “Settings”
app and tap “Apps”
Tap the “more options” icon
or “Advanced”
Tap “Special access”
Tap “Optimise battery usage”
/ “Battery optimisation”
Tap “Apps not optimised”
and select “All”

YOU’RE ALL SET
Ipsos iris orange for your Android tablet/secondary smartphone is complete.
In the app: you should see a notification stating “Application is running”
Status Bar: 1 x VPN key and 1 x Ipsos iris orange icon will be present
Notification Panel: 1 x VPN notification and 1 x Ipsos iris orange notification

Using the App q
Using the Ipsos iris orange app is really simple!
All you need to do is ensure that the app is running in the background at all
times, and use your Android tablet or secondary smartphone as you would
normally.
You will know if the app is running because there will be a VPN key icon
and Ipsos iris orange icon at the top of your screen, and two app
notifications present on the notification panel.
