Pump downPump down means retrieving all refrigerant in the out-door unitwithout losing the system's filling. This is donewhen the climate unit is to be moved or during repairof the cooling circuit.

Procedure for "Pump down":1. Connect amanometer assembly to the lowpressure

valve, open partially (1/4 turns). Extract air from themanometer. Then close the highpressure valve fully.

2. Start the climate unit in cooling mode. When thepressure that is read out from the manometer hasdropped to a value less than 0.6 bar (absolute pres-sure), the low pressure valve must be closed fullyand the climate unit switched off.

3. Remove themanometer assembly. Theaction "Pumpdown" is now complete and all refrigerant has beencollected in the outdoor unit.
