3. PRE-oPERAtioN cHEcK

1. cHEcK ENGiNE FUELMakesurethereissufficientfuelinthetank.Iffuelislow,refillwithunleadedautomotivegasoline.Besuretousethefuelfilterscreenonthefuelfilterneck.Recommendedfuel:87octane+.Donotusegasolinecontainingmorethan10%ethanol.Gasolinecontaininghigherlevelsofethanoliscorrosiveandattractsmoisture,whichcancausestartorrunningproblems,andinsomecasesdamagethegeneratorsfuelsystem.Damagetogeneratorfromethanolenrichedfuelsisnotcoveredbywarranty.Fueltankcapacity:(seepage17)

Addmorethan1.32galoffuelforthefirsttimetousethismachine.Pre-operationchecksshouldbemadeeachtimethegeneratorisused.

cAUtioN:

• Refuelinwell-ventilatedareabeforestartingthegenerator.If enginehasbeenrunning,allowittocoolbeforerestarting.• Donotrefilltankwhileengineisrunningorhot.• Closefuelcockbeforerefuelingwithfuel.• Becarefulnottoadmitdust,dirt,waterorotherforeignobjects intofuel.• Donotfillabovethetopofthefuelfilteroritmayoverflowwhen thefuelheatsuplaterandexpands.• Wipeoffspiltfuelthoroughlybeforestartingengine.• Keepawayfromopenflames.

4. oPERAtioN

1. StARtiNG tHE ENGiNENotE: Before starting the engine, do not connect the electric apparatus.

A Recoil start1.Turnthefuelcocklevertothe“ON”position.Pressprimerbulb.2.Turntheengineswitchtothe“ON”or“RUN”position.3.Turnthechokelevertotheposition. Notnecessaryiftheengineisstartedusingtheremote.4.Pullthestarterhandleslowlyuntilresistanceisfelt.Thisisthe “Compression”point.Returnthehandletoitsoriginalposition andpullswiftly.Donotfullypullouttherope.Afterstarting, allowthestarterhandletoreturntoitsoriginalpositionwhilestill holdingthehandle.Graspthecarryinghandlefirmlytopreventthe generatorfromfallingoverwhenpullingtherecoilstarter.5.Warmuptheengine.6.Turnthechokeleverbacktotheoperatingposition. 2. oVERLoAD iNDicAtoR LiGHtTheoverloadindicatorlightcomesonwhenanoverloadofaconnectedelectricaldeviceisdetected,theinverterunitoverheats,ortheACoutputvoltagerises.Theelectronicbreakerwillthenactivate,stoppingpowertothegenerationinordertoprotectthegeneratorandanyconnectedelectricdevices.Theoutputpilotlight(green)willflickerandtheoverloadindicatorlight(red)willturnon,thentheenginewillstoprunning.Ifsopleasefollowthefollowingsteps:(a)Turnoffanyconnectedelectricdevicesandstoptheengine(b)Reducethetotalwattageofconnectedelectricdeviceswithinthe applicationrange.(c)Checkforblockagesinthecoolingairinletandaroundthe controlunit.Ifanyblockagesarefound,remove.(d)Afterchecking,restarttheengine.

Besuretheelectricapparatusisturnedoffbeforepluggingin.Besurethetotalloadiswithingeneratorratedoutput.Besurethesocketloadcurrentiswithinsocketratedcurrent.Thesmartthrottleswitchmustbeturnedto“OFF”whenusingelectricdevicesthatrequirealargestartingcurrent,suchasacompressororsubmersiblepump.

(a)Charginginstructionforbattery• Disconnecttheleadsforthebattery.• Loosenbatteryfillercap.• Ifthebatteryfluidislowlevel,Filldistilledwatertotheupperlimit.• Measurethespecificgravityforthebatteryfluidbyusingthe hydrometer,andcalculatethechargingtimeinaccordingwiththe tableshownonrightside.• Thespecificgravityforthefullychargedbatteryshallbewithin 1.26to1.28.Itisrecommendedtoconfirmeveryanhour. (b)ConnectbetweentheDCoutputsocketandthebattery terminalsusingthechargingleads.Theleadsshallbeconnected makingsureofthe(+)and(-)polarity. (c)TheDCcircuitprotectoristobesetto“ON”after confirmingtheconnection,iftheprotectorisin“OFF”position.

ThegeneratorACoutputautomaticallyresetswhentheengineisstoppedandthenrestarted.Theoverloadindicatorlightmaycomeonforafewsecondsatfirstwhenusingelectricdevicesthatrequirealargestartingcurrent,suchasacompressororasubmersiblepump.However,thisisnotamalfunction.

Besurethesmartthrottleswitchisturnedoffwhilechargingthebattery.

ENGiNE 1.Removethesparkplug,pourinaboutonetablespoonof SAE10W30or20W40motoroilintothesparkplughole andreinstallthesparkplug. 2.Usetherecoilstartertoturntheengineoverseveraltimes (withignitionoff). 3.pulltherecoilstarteruntilyoufeelcompression. 4.Stoppulling. 5.Cleanexteriorofthegeneratorandapplyarustinhibitor. 6.Storethegeneratorinadry,well-ventilatedplace, withacoverplacedoverit. 7.Thegeneratormustremaininaverticalposition. 8.Removebatteryanduseabatterymaintainerformotorcyclebatteries.

3. Unscrew 2bolts with red circle

Push cover upward then removed it

Unscrew oil filler cap

Remove oil filler cap

Replaced the Oring if necessary

Add engine oil to the upper level line Install the oil filler cap 5ghtly

Customized wrench in tooling bag, when you open carton you will see the tool bag

Check gap 1~1.3mm

2. if oil warning light on, fill oil Below is how to fill oil




Push fuel bulb bracket then pull fuel bulb

outward

Pull fuel bulb out

Take fuel bulb out and check inside . inspect if clean /bo5om for leakage

or not. Replaced it if necessary

1. Remove oil strainer cap cover

1. Remove right side cover

1. Remove right side cover

2. Remove oil strainer cap

2. Take fuel bulb out

3. Pull air filter assy outward4. Open air filter cover

2. Unscrew 3 bolts

3. Take oil strainer out 4. Install oil strainer cover tightly

3. Check fuel bulb. 4. Clean or replace.5. Reinstall fuel bulb onto generator. 6. Reconnect fuel bulb.

3. Check foam. Clean or replace if necessary 4. Install right side cover tightly.5. Tighten air filter cover.6. Close air filter cover 7. Reinstall air filter.

5. Install oil strainer cap tightly

Check oil strainer clean or not, replaced it if

Take foam out , clean or replaced it if necessary


check fuel filter , replace if necessary

1:Remove connected wires 2:Remove moun3ng bolts 3:Take star3ng relay out 1:Mount new star.ng relay

2: Reconnect all wires
