Ivory CrockettRun 4 Webster

The Ivory Crockett Run 4 Webster, established in 2004 to honorIvory Crockett, a 1968 graduate of Webster Groves High School, was runthrough the streets of Old Webster on Saturday, Oct. 1.

The overall winner in the four-mile race was Jessica Koster with atime of 24:11. In second place, and the top male runner was JustinFrederick, 31, with a time of 26:09.

More than 100 runners competed in the 4-mile Ivory Crockett Run. Above, run-

ners take off from the starting line at Lockwood and Gore avenues.

Ivory Crockett, who in 1974 set a

world record time of 9.0 seconds inthe 100 yard dash, a record which

still stands today. At right, the overallwinner of the Ivory Crockett Run, Jes-

sica Koster.
