The entrance leads to a full view of the river with frameless glass stacking doors that open to the sky & external deck
overlooking the view. The clients wanted to use contemporary lines & forms & make the house as natural as possible
with a seamless integration into the surrounding landscape.
The house has three levels, each level having a rear balcony to embrace its biggest asset: the view. The top floors
consists of the bedrooms with a large open plan centre housing the kitchen, living, dining rooms as well as an extensive
outdoor space. With the land falling at the rear of the property, the pool acts as an intermediary step between the
entertainment levels.
Natural tones & colours were used throughout the full exterior & interior creating a minimalistic, open plan with nothing
detracting from the view. The expansive open floorplan uses long unbroken lines to contribute to the contemporary
aesthetic. Kitchen finishes matches the cabinetry to the living room & external areas & uniform wall tones also draw the
space together. Lighting & floor coverings demarcate areas of use.

Glamourous caesarstone benchtops throughout
blend seamlessly into the neutral colour scheme,
teamed with crisp white cabinetry and modern
bathroomware.
Cleverly combining a mixture of modern & elegance
this house is a simple background to relaxed living.
Situated in the eastern suburbs of brisbane, nearing a nature reserve, this low set four bedroom residence oozes style.
Timber cladding was used to external soffits to entry and terrace to add interest to the fresh, clean external scheme and
complementing the modern interior.
Inside, a short hall leads from the front door before the house expands into an open plan living/dining area that marries
with a covered outdoor terrace evoking an unmistakable relaxed mood. A backdrop of dulux natural white sets the tone
for an effortless and casual open plan space.

A contemporary edge was achieved through the incorporation of the paved
outdoor entertaining areas, extending the courtyards functionality.
From the street the image presented by this multi residential development
is of modest informality. Fenced but not enclosed, hidden but unobscured,
unyielding in the strict geometry of its elements yet softened by informal
planting. Elegance in it’s simplicity, the low level residential development
is grand in its construction and architectural planning. Shades of white and
grey but warm & neutral in colour, and closed but hinting at its open
architectural planning. Many of the established trees were preserved which
as well as maintaining the traditional streetscape, also acted to soften the
transition from new to old.
