    Industry Profile

    Oakwood Training VenturesOakwood Training Ventures

In the world of corporate training, a constant evolution of the mind is desirable, not

just for work-place effectiveness, but for sheer personal development and

competitiveness. In the words of William Arthur Ward, a famous American writer ofinspirational maxims who lived between 1921 and 1994, The mediocre teacher tells.

The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher

    inspires.

We at Oakwood Training Ventures demonstrate and inspire you to learn and evolve

through our training modules in each of the five domains we work in.

In some companies, learning and developmentis just a part of the calendar while in

others, a serious concerted effort is ensued so as to make employees more productive.

We choose to partner with all who think learning and development should be a regular

initiative and can jointly design a training calendar with us.

Our workshops are delivered on site as well as through open sessions in collaboration

with similar companies from the same segment. With over 134 modules and a strong

contingent of Lead Facilitators, we seek to be your training partner over the years.

Our workshops come with a standing assurance of 90 days post-training support and a

full refund within the first 45 minutes of any of our workshop should any participant

    choose to discontinue.

    1. Statement of problem

  • 8/22/2019 Industry Profile.doc

    11/14

As per above information, I was appointed in Oakwood Training Ventures for my

summer internship. This is situated near vashi railway station. I visited many colleges

and learn many things and some obstacles are also there:-

    .

There were few problems also occurred in the way of my summer internship they are

as following. It was very tough to collect the information about the colleges because non of them

is ready to give their innovative information easily.

Few colleges were asking that have you taken prior appointment from us? Take

    appointment then come

Some were asking we are busy come letter on.

Some were asking its a wrong time come tomorrow or day after tomorrow.

Even some colleges were not ready to give their 10 to015 minutes of time

Colleges were much more walking distance from the railway station

Colleges does not haves their private vehicle to pick and drop the students to

railway station Some colleges were not even ready to participate in the program

-Many people are hesitant to answer questions about themselves and their opinions.

-Respondents will probably be more willing to help if we clearly state our intentions

-At the top of our survey, include a brief statement explaining why we are collecting

the information and reassure each respondent that the information is confidential

    2. objective of study

system all over the Mumbai as well as all other states of the India

education and learning could be improved. To identify new innovation having in the field of Management

    Colleges.

embarked upon for getting more information to generate the innovation

    in the study system.

To evaluate the market opportunities and focusing only those colleges/

which could more innovative on longer run.

    3. scope of study

  • 8/22/2019 Industry Profile.doc

    12/14

The scope of the management survey was restricted to the Mumbai university and

Pune universities. In Mumbai University I had visited some institutes as well as in

pune universitys some institutions. Only B grad colleges because it was separated

    from A grad colleges.

    4. methodologyThere different methodology to collecting the data of our research.

    Primary source

    Secondary source

    Primary source of data collection.

The data which are collected by primary source that is directly is called data of

primary source of data which are pure and perfect and compiled directly by visiting to

the source or main document or record containing first-hand information or original dataon a topic..."

    Primary sources are works created

at the time of an event, or

by a person who directly experienced an event.

It is the content, not necessarily the format, of a work that makes it a primary source. For

example, an online copy of a newspaper from March 20, 1897, is still a primary sourceeven though the article viewed on your computer was digitized more than a century after

    the article was first printed.

    Primary sources can include

Interviews, diaries, letters, journals, speeches, autobiographies, and witness

    statements

Articles containing original research, data, or findings never before shared

    Original hand-written manuscripts

    Government documents and public records

Art, photographs, films, maps, fiction, and music

    Newspaper and magazine clippings

    Artifacts, buildings, furniture, and clothing

    Secondary source of data collection

  • 8/22/2019 Industry Profile.doc

    13/14

Any published or unpublished work that is one step removed from the original source, usually describing, summarizing, analyzing, evaluating, derived from, or based onprimary source materials..."

    Secondary sources are works that

There Has one step removed from the original event or experience

provide criticism or interpretation of a primary source

    Secondary sources can include

    Textbooks

Review articles and critical analysis essays

    Biographies

    Historical films, music, and art

Articles about people and events from the past

    5. limitation of study

The main limitation was that area of study that it was restricted to

Mumbai only. And in that particular area there were some specific

    management institution has to study.

The next one is that there were limited questions were there on the

    questionnaire form

The directors. Deans, and professors were not available on the time to

    whom to be visited
