The procedure is onlypossible with data carriers oftype BIS L-1_ _-05/L,which are converted intoread-only format.
BIS L-1_ _-05/L-ROare read-only data carriersthat can be programmedaccording to yourrequirements. Please ask forthe order form or downloadit from or Web site. 3 bytesof user data as well as2 bytes for the CRC arestored. Data consistency isqueried by the processor.
The BIS L-2_ _-03/L usesread-only data carrierswith a fixed "unique number"of 5 bytes (40 bits).No repetition of the uniquenumber or delivery ofsequential numbers ispossible.

Individual access codes areallocated via programmabledata keys, which canthen be disabled to preventfurther programming.
Unauthorized personnelcannot manipulate the datakey as a result. The data keyis read via an antenna fittedto a special bracket. Theprocessor unit then issuesthe data.Different interfaces suchas serial, PROFIBUS,INTERBUS, DeviceNetTM,Ethernet/IP or parallelinterfaces enable simpleconnection to the monitoredsystem. Available forsystems BIS C, BIS L andBIS M.

Simple upgrade and rapidreplacement withoutmodifying the systemsoftware. End users areindependent of systemproviders. The accesssystem is easy to integrate inread/write stations thatalready use an identificationsystem.
