ABOUT TIME
It's about time that we got autonomy
It's about time parking meters were free
For some brand new movies on Channel 3,
It's about time.
It's about time that Allan Lappin got crackin'
It's about time Digby Wolfe was sent packin'
For Revue '62 to do something new
It's - about time.
Time marches on,
But America's nat on the moon yet
Perhaps it won't be long
Meanwhile-Jackie's style, makes it well worth while
Russia can't compete with the Kennedy Smile(-)
It's about time that there was action in Laos
It's about time Russia settled this chaos
Why wait so long
Just drop the bomb -
Cause It's - about time!

Five years have passed since the first University College revue and it is now a tradition both within the college and outside it. I have been fortunate enough to have been associ-ated with four of these revues cmd I have watched, with a great deal of interest, the many changes which have taken place. Revue has developed from a comparatively small enter-prise to large one; we have moved from the Roxy to our own theatre; personalities have come and gone. But most signif-icant of all has been the change in the sense of humour. That which we laughed a t 4 years ago would scarcely raise a smile today.
"IN TIME OUT" is a revue with a brand new sense of humour. The institutions of yesterday were absurd enough in themselves to provide material; nothing in 1962 is so sacred that it should escape the acid pen. And the future? Who knows
who cares? We can only offer suggestions as to what you can do with the future. The best way to live with the bomb is to laugh at it.
We are very glad that you have taken 'time out' to see "IN TIME OUT". We hope you won't feel that the time has been wasted. Let's not waste any more of it - the show must go on and it's ABOUT TIME .. .
