IN AMONG THE CROWD

Welcome to my book of illustrations, murals, doodles & other things. My name is Peter and im known by my nickname Bizk and my artist name Biz-kOne. As an artist I have been drawing my entire life, its my meditation, my joy and my way of dealing with my temper and my feelings. And it`s fun!

I find my inspiration in punkrock, skateboarding, hiphop, graffiti, art in the streets, comics, graphic novels, cartoons, animated movies, computer-games, pixel graphics, modern design etc.

What you have in your hands is my first ARTbook, a collection of my work from mid 2013 - 2015, And you are about to experience everthing from murals to small doodles everything in a big mash-up of creative fun and experiments.

My art is not to be taken as conceptual or intellectual art in any way, Its more a question of putting a smile on peoples face, spreading love and joy, aswell as leaving a mark and a comment in the city i live in, and the culture I am part of. It is a comment to being part of so-cial life, a visualization of the inspiration and memories people give me being part of their everyday-lives every single day at work, gigs, festivals, meetings & collaborations.

I am merely IN AMONG THE CROWD, some people consider me a true(?) art-ist, a hardworker, a friend, a buddy, a partner, a lover. I AM AMONG OTHERS, and if i had to bring 3 things to a lonely island, I would bring the CROWD, a box of spraypaint and a jar of peanutbutter.

Parties, work, fun, love, a broken heart, A broken Harddrive, a corrupted indesign file, lazyness, more work ... and tons of projects that i had to finish along the way.... that simply popped up out of nowhere.

No alcohol or drugs were consumed during the making of this book, No animals were hurt, but loads of colorpencils, markers and fineliners saw their last days.... Lots of energy drinks and coffee made this possible, and your support meant everything

This mural is done for Himmelbuen in Copenhagen, an institution for kids.

I was supposed to do a large wall, but ended up doing 3 smaller pieces.

ABANDONED BUILDINGS:

Now and then I paint aban-doned buildings with my bud-dies LINTS & RUN BOB. It`s always a BLAST!, This image is from a building near my studio,

a building which is now teared down to make new room for expensive apartments near the beach.

On the following pages you`llfind even more of my work

done in that area. Me and my homies always look for new abandoned places to practice our skills and have a jam.

It`s part urban exploring and part sketching on big surfaces.

Using leftovers from the day before, we hit the same building again. Now its all bricks and piles of concrete.

But thats the thing with graffiti, most pieces end up temporary, leaving a mark in time. so its im-portant to document your work, before it dissapears..
