immediacy, immersion and immersiveness in augmented reality pt2
DESCRIPTION
The experiences offered by virtual reality and augmented reality are not new, the physical world also offers opportunities to be transported by technologies to alternative realities. However, this transportation is dependent on a very human quality - belief. This presentation explores why belief in the virtual world is at the root of presence, and experiencing presence is the element that is crucial for these technologies to be effective.TRANSCRIPT
