--- As per the report of the Returning Officer, dated 13.06.2018, it is informed

that the 14th CTRI-IJSC Elections-2018 from the Technical, Administrative and Skilled

Support Staff categories will be conducted on 22.06.2018 from 11.00 Hrs. to 13.00 Hrs.

the purpose, one improvised booth and ballot box(s) will be arranged at CTRI,

Rajahmundry and its Research Stations. Election may be conducted for KVK and BTRC in

one booth. All the employees may exercise their votes by putting cross marks (X) against

the names of the candidates whom they wish to elect appearing in the ballot paper

belonging to their category only.

All the Presiding Officers are hereby informed to conduct election strictly as

per the election schedule. Their proposals for leave/tours etc. on the election day may be

postponed.

Modal Ballot Paper with list of voters is enclosed herewith for conducting

election. Sufficient No. of Ballot Papers (Equivalent Number of voters ) with list of voters

( 3 copies) may be got Xeroxed. The concerned presiding officer should sign on the back

of each ballot before issuing the same to the voter. The voter should be informed not to

sign on the ballot paper. Staff on temporary transfer may also be permitted to vote at

the station if, they are posted.

All the Staff viz. Technical/Administrative/Skilled Support Staff, who are on rolls

can vote (put the cross mark (X) ) for not more than 2 (two). Each Category should vote

for their respective category only. Ballot papers containing more than permitted ‘X’

marks will be treated as ‘invalid’.

All the concerned Controlling Officers may take necessary action to prepare

suitable ballot box for conducting elections. After the closure of elections the Presiding

Officer is advised to send the ballot box on the same day by post parcel duly insured for

Rs.100/- addressed to Dr. Y. Subbaiah, Principal Scientist & Returning Officer, 14th CTRI-

IJSC, ICAR-CTRI, Rajahmundry alongwith the following information.

1 No. of Ballot papers received.

2 No. of Ballot papers issued.

3 No. of Ballot papers unused

4 No. of Ballot papers cancelled.

Cancelled and unused ballot papers may be returned in a separate cover along

with the ballot box.
