should be 13-15 minutes in duration

As I said in my email to you a few months ago IB students thrive at Sarah Lawrence We find that students who come to Sarah Lawrence with an IB diploma are uniquely well equipped for the intellectual rigor of a Sarah Lawrence education because they already know how to study across disciplines think deeply read closely and analyze critically
Normally we are very hesitant at Sarah Lawrence to grant credit for courses completed before college But we trust and value the IB diploma In fact we are so confident in the IB curriculum thatmdashafter successful completion of their first year of college--we will grant an entire yearrsquos worth of credit to students who hold an IB diploma allowing them to complete graduation requirements in just three years

Normally we are very hesitant at Sarah Lawrence to grant credit for courses completed before college But we trust and value the IB diploma In fact we are so confident in the IB curriculum thatmdashafter successful completion of their first year of college--we will grant an entire yearrsquos worth of credit to students who hold an IB diploma allowing them to complete graduation requirements in just three years

bull Finish Personal Project by established deadline
bull Take remaining MYPPDP courses 2nd semester perform well on MYP assessments complete community service
bull Come to ldquoDiploma Decisionrdquo meetings in Januarybull Parentstudent panel discussion of IB prosconsbull Information meeting with sophomores mid January
bull Meet with IB Director in Feb if interested in Diploma or IBCPbull Each studentrsquos program planned individuallybull Work towards MYP Certificate expected
