Halcyon London International School is a candidate school** for the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy - a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Halcyon London International School believes is important for our students.

Assessment of student learning

• The IBO specifies assessment criteria and standards in each subject and grade level

• Teachers design tasks according to the criteria and mark students work against the criteria

• At the end of the grading period students are given a summative grade on a scale of 1 to 7

• Samples of student work are sent to the IB at regular intervals to ensure that standards are consistent across the world.
