Dear R. B. Hunt Families:
We would like to invite all 3rd, 4th and 5th grade parents to Open House, Monday evening
from 6:00-7:30 p.m. We will have a brief program for parents in the cafeteria beginning at
6:00 p.m. Students in grades 3-5 can go directly to their classrooms and younger school-
aged children K-2nd grade can go to the multi-purpose room where childcare will be provided
during the parent meeting. We have some interesting information to share with parents and
I know your students are excited to show you what is happening in their classrooms.
The FUND RUN is in full swing and the students seem to be really enjoying some of the cra-
zy, fun things happening around the school. This is P.T.A.O.’s only “fundraiser” for the year,
so we appreciate all of your support! The actual run is scheduled for Thursday, September
25th. If you have cleared building access, come out and cheer our students on!
I would like to thank Tim Olsen, Scott Sacharski and Tamra Coley of the St. Augustine Fam-
ily YMCA for their generous donation of student art supplies to the school. Ms. Christine,
our art teacher, was thrilled!
Congratulations to Daniel Gassert, Eva Gassert, Soleil Von Hausch and Taylor Parry for join-
ing the Principal’s million word club! Keep Reading!
First and foremost, I would like to thank all the parents who follow the established pick-up
and drop off patterns. By following the school rules you are being wonderful role-models for
our children! We have morning parent drop-off as early as 7:45 by the cafeteria doors, and
afternoon car rider pick-up until approximately 3:20. It is unsafe for our children to be
dropped off and picked up by car in front of the school. We appreciate your support of
these important rules.
Thanks for all you do!

School Access Applications
Please remind your extended families that
they must be pre-approved for building
access to come into the building. Applica-
tions can take up to six weeks to process.
Six weeks from TODAY is the Character
Parade! Yikes. I wouldn’t want families
to miss it because they don’t have access.
