    Press Release

    On January 19, 2014 at approximately 9:22 am, officers from the Hudson PoliceDepartment and deputies from the St. Croix County Sheriffs Office responded to areport of shots fired at 203 Second Street in the City of Hudson, WI. This is the addressto the River City Center complex. When officers arrived they found that three peoplehad been shot; two men and one woman. All three were transported by ambulance toRegions Hospital where there condition is currently unknown.

    Witnesses to this shooting stated a tan or gray color late 90s model Cadillac had been

    involved in this incident and that it had left the scene heading south towards I-94. ThisCadillac had chrome rims and a Cadillac emblem on the hood. This vehicle wasreported to have two black male occupants. Based on this information an alert was sentout to neighboring MN to keep an eye out for this vehicle.

    At approximately 10:29 am an Egan officer spotted a possible vehicle and suspects,matching this description, heading southbound on I-494. This vehicle was followed intoBloomington MN where it ended up stopping in the parking lot of the Hampton Inn nearthe Mall of America. When officers approached this vehicle it was found abandoned.The two suspects were later apprehended a short distance from this hotel. It was laterlearned that these suspects had entered the hotel prior to being stopped and had

    placed possible evidence in the hotel. This evidence was recovered by BloomingtonPD. This vehicle, and the possible evidence found in the hotel, has been turned over toHudson PD. Bloomington PD is currently holding these suspects at the request ofHudson PD.

    Detectives from the Hudson Police Department are currently interviewing the victims ofthis incident. Information regarding the victims and suspects will be given out at a latertime.
