First Year Inquiry Courses
• Small classes

12-14 letter graded hours = 3.5 or higher GPA
15+ letter graded hours = 3.25 or higher GPA
NC State allows +/- grades.

Satisfactory Academic Progress & Tuition Surcharge
●Be in a degree-granting major before entering your fifth term
●Complete at least ⅔ of all hours attempted each year (summer term- spring
term)
●Graduate before attempting more than 150% of the hours required for your
degree program
●Have an academic standing that allows for continued enrollment
