Always begin a new sketch on the next CLEAN page. (Do not sketch on the BACK of a used page either!)
Put a DATE on your sketches. When you look back in your sketchbook it will be nice to see how much you have improved!
Don’t tear anything out; Don’t throw anything away! It’s okay to make mistakes.
Never criticize your drawing. Don’t allow that inside voice to tell you that your sketch is no good. It doesn’t have to be a masterpiece!
RESPECT the Privacy of others by not looking at their Sketchbooks without permission.
Remember to keep your sketchbook close. You never know when you will feel “inspired” to draw. And Make sure to bring to EVERY ART CLASS!
