Steps to Great Coffee
We ship in small bags to keep the coffee fresh. Avoid exposure to the elements. Don’t put your coffee in the fridge or freezer. Store your fresh roasted coffee in a dark airtight container at room temperature. Our bags work great with this amount of coffee.
Use a scale to dial in the perfect cup of coffee.
We usually start at15 grams of coffee to 300 grams of water.
Adjust to your taste.
Grind your coffee right before you brew it - this is very important. Only grind what you’ll use for that brew. A burr grinder is best, and definitely suggested over a blade grinder. The burrs ensure a consistent even grind of the beans.
There are tons of different brewing methods. The best brews, we find, are with pour over methods such as a Chemex or Hario V60.
Coffee really needs to be experimented with to find what you really love.
