Horizon Village is a not-for-profitintensive residential treatmentfacility dedicated to the total care of adults with substance use disorders.

It is an affiliate of Horizon Health Services, oneof the region’s largest and leading rehabilitationorganizations. Horizon Village is licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism andSubstance Abuse Services and is a cost-effectivealternative to hospital-based care.

A caring approachResidential treatment provides an opportunity for holistic recovery by providing person-centeredtreatment in an environment that empowersresidents to make choices as they focus onimproving all life-skill areas.

Horizon Village is staffed by a multi-disciplinaryteam representing the fields of medicine, socialwork, nursing, alcoholism and substance abusecounseling, family counseling, psychology,psychiatry and activities therapy. A financial casemanager and Medicaid assistance are also available.

Our residents benefit from a 24/7 intensive andindividualized recovery program.

A place to call homeHorizon Village is a 50-bed facility designedwith our residents’ comfort and safety in mind.Located on three acres, our facility is a modern,one-story, handicapped-accessible building with24 double-occupancy and two single-occupancyrooms located in two residential wings.Additional facilities include adining hall and fitness center,gardens and picnic area,pavilion and basketball court.Arrangements can be made for those residents who wish to attend religiousworship services.
