The Miami Book Fair International needs volunteers in the weeks leading up to the Fair; as well as each day of actual Fair which is in mid-November. The shifts are in 3 hour incrementsyou can sign up for as Vermont Poverty Law Postgraduate Fellowship The Vermont Bar Foundation and the Vermont Access to Justice Campaign are pleased to announce their two- year Vermont Poverty Law Fellowship (VPLF) beginning in  August 2014. The VPLF program is designed to allow graduating law students and other new lawyers to help expand the reach of Vermont’s existing legal services providers. Funding for salary and benefits will be provided by the Vermont Access to Justice Fund and will be matched by supervision and office support from a host Vermont legal services organization. LOG YOUR HOURS for pro bono advocacy and community service! Congratulations to the hundreds of students who made the choice to begin the year with service through HOPE DAY.Over 800 hours of community service were logged by participants for their work across Miami-Dade County on August16th. Take the HOPE pledge of performing 75 hours or more of pro bono advocacy and community service in lawschool.
