CROP WALK UPDATE
Two years ago this month, a devastating earthquake struck Haiti.
The loss of life, the destruction, was terrifying. But out of the rubble,
a new Haiti is gradually emerging. And, because of your
contributions to the CROP Walk, Church World Service (CWS) is
there, helping Haitians rebuild.
Students are learning again. Homes are being repaired and rebuilt.
Amputees from the quake have new prosthetics. Farmers have loans
and tools. Churches are being rebuilt and expanding in Haiti.
Thank you for "walking" with CWS and Haiti in her time of need.
Thank you for making all this work possible. And thank you for
helping ensure CWS is prepared and able to respond when disaster
strikes, wherever it may be.
To see evidence of our impact on the Haitian recover, watch this

In Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
"A nation or civilization that continues to produce
soft-minded men purchases its own spiritual death
on an installment plan."
- Martin Luther King, Jr., Strength to Love
"Everybody can be great... because anybody can
serve. You don't have to have a college degree to
serve. You don't have to make your subject and
verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of
grace. A soul generated by love."
- Martin Luther King, Jr.
"Faith is taking the first step even when you don't
see the whole staircase."
