Talk about how the snail might be feeling when he goes up the hill, through the tunnel, into the forest, over the bridge, down the slope, past the flowers and into the dark cave.

Did he feel happy, scared, tired, sad, lonely, miserable, excited.

Use the pictures on the next page to help.

Challenge: Draw how you are feeling today.

Today we are going to move like the snail in the story.

Can you stretch like you are waking up.

Pretend you are climbing a steep hill.

Slide on your tummy.

We are going to strengthen our fingers today by practicing our cutting skills.

Snails have spiral shells, we will try to cut a spiral

You will need some scissors (make sure you are very careful with them) and a piece of paper.
