Please reinforce this with your child. Then on the other positional language sheet you child needs to draw the objects in the right places. There is a sheet with a snowman on that needs to be cut into 4 or 6 pieces like a puzzle and then be put back together again. The wider Curriculum Our PE session this term is Aerobic’s. So, in the pack there is a page with a youtube link called Yuvi-story aerobics. Yuvi is in a hot country and the children have to do exercises to avoid the animals. Every day at school we look at the weather and recall what it is like. So, in your pack there is a sheet for them to sing the weather song and draw what the weather is. Because some places have had snow and to go with the weather chart there is a song on youtube about 5 Little Snowmen melting away when the sun comes out that your child can sing along to and work out how many snowmen are left. Extra To help your child keep calm and relaxed there is an elephant breathing exercise for them to do. You could play relaxing music in the background while

While some of us have been celebrating Christmas, your child can draw their favourite toy that they received. For children who don’t celebrate Christmas they can draw their favourite toy on the sheet instead. There is also a sheet to recall what your chid did over the holidays. So, in your pack there is a sheet for them to sing the weather song and draw what the weather is. Because some places have had snow and to go with the weather chart there is a song on youtube about 5 Little Snowmen melting away when the sun comes out that your child can sing along to and work out how many snowmen are left.

PSHE: A lovely relaxation exercise.

Stand with your feet wide apart. Link your hands together and dangle your arms in front of you like an elephant’s trunk. Breathe in and raise your trunk up above your head and then breathe out when you bring your trunk back down. Raise your trunk up again and breathe in and then breathe out as you bring your trunk back down.

Story time:

While not sit down and look at your favourite book. You could retell the story to your mummy or daddy. Or just listen to the story being read to you.

You could tell us about your favourite book on the DBprimary website. Just upload a video. It would be good to see you.

There are lots of stories on the DBprimary website to listen to and watch like Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Billy Goats Gruff.

Art: Junk Modelling

Using junk items from around your house, you can collect some items and stick them together to make your own junk model.

Maybe a castle or a dragon.

Or using play dough you could make some delicious cakes.
