Happy Easter! Since Ash Wednesday, we all

have changed in ways that we never

thought we would have with the Corona-

virus pandemic. We are still challenged

and our Lenten journey with CRS Rice Bowl invites us even

deeper to share with our global family. Thank you if you have

already turned in your CRS Rice Bowl.

generous donations of toiletries and personal hygiene

care items that you brought in during Lent. There was

enough to create 8 bags for men, 8 bags for

women, 8 bags for families, plus lots extras

for households, and plenty to give to a spe-

cial request (a young married couple moving

into their first home expecting their first child).

Did you know…..that Holy Spirit Parish has a

community garden? We have 9 raised beds,

prepared and ready to go for planting. Root

veggies and a few others can be planted at

this time. Even though we are a month out

from all planting, this is the time to get together & talk about

the plan for our—entire community garden! If you are inter-

ested please give me a call 452-6491 ext. 208. A few folks

had signed up through time and talent last fall, I will be call-

ing you soon!

Pregnancy Loss…..Miscarriage….No one

knows, it’s hard to talk about, it is very personal, and specific to

each person’s situation….male or female. No matter how long

it has been since your miscarriage / infant loss, we are here to

listen. Parish Nurses, Compassionate Listeners, and Bereave-

ment Team Members are present; someone to talk to, they

Completion of Initiation: Confirmation & 1st Eucharist

We will be celebrating the Completion of Initiation for all those young people who completed their preparation this year the weekend of May 16 & 17, 2020 @ the three weekend liturgies. Each family needs to notify Kody of the Mass they will attend; Saturday 4:30; Sunday 8:30am or 11:00am. Please note we will Live-Stream each of these Masses because we will be adhering to our social distancing guidelines & the Bishop’s directives for public masses.
