LI: To be able to prove or disprove a testable hypothesis. Remember we used this historical skill when we were looking at racial segregation. A testable hypothesis is where you use sources of evidence from the past to answer a question. I would like you to answer this question. Testable hypothesis – Did VE day end all the problems that people face during WW2? I would like you to answer this question, using evidence to back it up. Remember you have to form a conclusion. Use the information below including video sources that you can find online. Remember the work we did on sources. Some sources are not reliable. Also, remember to think about whether the source is a primary or secondary source. Victory in Europe Day – or VE Day – is remembered on 8th May. It was the day when the end of the Second World War in Europe is celebrated.
