Dhaka's History:  Dhakar Itihas (Part 1 & 2 by Jatindramohan Roy),  Dacca: Record of its Changing Fortunes (by Dr. Ahmad Hasan Dani),  Tawarikhe Dhaka (by Munshi Rahman Ali Tayesh),  Dhaka Pachash Barash Payheley (by Hakim Habibur Rahman),  Asadugane Dhaka (by Hakim Habibur Rahman),  Glimpses of Dhaka (by Syed Mohammad Taifur),  Dhaka: A Study In Urban History & Development 1840-1921 (by Dr . Sharif Uddin Ahmed),  Dhaka: Smriti Bismritir Nagari (Part 1 & 2 by Muntasir Mamun),  Kinbodontir Dhaka (by Nazir Hossain,  Antiquities of Dacca' by Sir Charles D'Oyly in the beg inning of 19th century (around 1814) should be high in the list - it can be dubbed as a "treasure". Most of t he recent sketches uploaded by Sazzad bhai and others are drawn by Sir Charles. The original copies are lost and only around 25 pages of the original are found (and around 10 pages are missing). A group of researchers found a rare copy of the book and translated in Bangla as  'ঢাকার াচীন নদলশ ন ' (১৯৯১) - বইট এত জনয় হয় ২০১১ সা এর ৩য় সংরণ বর হয়। যাগাযাগ করত পারন [email protected] - আমার সৌভাগ ব   বর মাইন  City of an Architect by Mahbubur Rahman
