PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Dear Brothers, Sisters and loving young friends,

Jai Shree Ram!

The month of April started off with a bang !!! On Saturday, the very 1st of April, we celebrated the

Chaitra Navratrey with great enthusiasm and devotion. Bunty Bawa from California regaled the

Devotees with his mesmerizing, powerful singing of Mata Ki Bhente. I would like to thank all of you

who joined us, and especially, my Team Members for making appropriate arrangements to organize

the program successfully, and handle the huge crowds in a peaceful manner.

For the first time ever, besides the unprecedented attendance in the Mandir, the entire program was

streamed LIVE on Facebook, and hundreds of Devotees were logged in, who also enjoyed the

program sitting at home. Several Messages poured in, congratulating the Mandir Management on the

tremendous success of the Program.

The 16th of April was another milestone in the History of HOM, when we celebrated the 30th

Anniversary of the Temple. This is a very pious occasion when we pay Homage to all our past

Founder Members, with whose Blessings and Vision, we have a beautiful place of worship today. A

combined Havan was organized to remember all the past Presidents and Chairmen for their Services,

and, also for the well-being of the current members. A beautiful Display of the photographs of all the

MEMBERS was a major attraction…beautiful memories associated with the old days and the Senior

members were shared in the congregation.

I am also thankful to Anil Dhutia, Suresh Mehta, Hitesh Master and Bhavna Mantri who took time to

come and sing Bhajans in our Sunday Congregations. Kudos to our secretary, Anita Rawal, who

invites artists and schedules quality programs. I only would like to urge you all to come on time and

enjoy all these programs.

The 5th Sunday of the month, April 30th, was dedicated to the special Bhajans of Baba Balak Nath Ji.

Ashok & Shama Sharma, along with their team of singers, presented a wonderful program to mark

the occasion. Special Prasad of “Rot” was served and everybody enjoyed the same.

Several programs are in the pipeline to commemorate Summer and Outdoor Activities. However, I

would like to draw your attention to one major event coming up on May 6th – VISHAL JAGRAN BY

BOMBAY ARTISTS. We are anticipating a big gathering of around 2000 people, so arrangements

have been made for Parking, Seating, Food, Live Screening of the Program in the Basement &

Outside Tent. However, CO-OPERATION from one and all would be greatly appreciated.

As always, please feel free to provide us your feedback, suggestions for improvement, and any

concerns regarding the smooth functioning of the Temple.
