What's new with High Ground: Following an incredible start, with ravereviews coming in from the NY Times, LA Times, and many more, HighGround continued with a series of screenings to raise awareness for

veterans and families. Our storyabout 11 wounded warriors after warhas played for organizations,universities, film festivals, woundedwarrior units, corporations, and

museums.

Recently, we partnered with TheWalt Disney Family Museum,V.E.T.S @SFSU, The Coming HomeProject, and City College of SanFrancisco Veterans Alliance. Despite

torrential rain, people came to TheWalt Disney Museum to see the film. Heres Co-Producer and United

Airlines pilot Matt Murray with United Airlines flight mechanic Tom Ballard,a Gold Star Dad who came to honor the memory and tell us about his son,the late LT Ken Ballard (US Army, OIF). We were especially touched whenhe showed us the jacket he was wearing, which had been his sons.

Soldiers to Summits just completed their 2012 summit of Cotopaxi(Ecuador) this past week. Congratulations!

Military Ovation continues to grow and serve military families in theDakotas and address an array of assistance needs that includesmental health, and suicide. They had a fantastic screening inBismarck. People came out despite temps near zero!

Yoga For Vets also had an outstanding screening in Panama City.Recently, YFV passed the 600 mark in the number of studios willingto give 4 free yoga classes to veterans.

Sierra Club Mission Outdoors named U.S. Army veteran Stacy Bare as its

director. Stacy recentl had its first Google+ Hangout. Recently, theyspoke with Craigslist Founder Craig Newmark who is an enthusiastabout getting veterans & families into the great outdoors.

Wounded Warriors in Action completed their Gator Hunt 2012 inMelbourne FL.

Horses 4 Heroes continues to expand the number of participating stablesoffering throughout the US offering free rides to veterans andfamilies, through Operation Free Ride.

StandUp Paddle Boards forVets has had a successful sale of theircustom paddle boards, and is announcing their courses for veteransin 2013.

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Inc. continues to offer fishing outingsfor veterans and shares wonderful photos on their Facebook page.

L.E.E.K. Hunting & Mountain Preserve completed their L.E.E.K./AndrusBear Hunt with 5 veterans from different states.

American Widow Project released their documentary that captures thelives of six military widows speaking candidly about their experiences.

Fuzzy Manning of PTS Treatment continues to grow his online outreachefforts to military spouses.
