Mewing of '32's "Cat" Mascot Gives Its Hiding Place Away. Freshmen Finders Say

M e w i n g of their " ca t , " mascot of the sophomores', is the reason g iven by them for its discovery in the chimney on the sub-roof of Draper ha l l , F r i day n ight , by three members of the freshman class, W i l l i a m Reagan, Ben jam in Ing ra l i am, and A l v i n Shaf fer .
For five days the freshmen had assiduously searched the Col lege bui ld ings w i thou t success. F ina l l y the search nar rowed d o w n to Draper hal l where it was found.
" T h r e e men and a rope." became the
freshmen slogan, f o l l ow ing a clue they
had obtained that three sophomore
men had used a rope to hide the mas-
col . A t six o'clock F r iday n ight I n -
idly by felt that the freshmen were not
do ing a l l in the i r power to celebrate
their success. They visited a number
of ne ighborhood stores, and re turned
