We are an international Spanish group that is a leading force in the field of integrated resource and environmental management, with our own installations in Europe and Latin America and a presence in Asia, Canada and the Middle East. For more than 25 years, we have been offering efficient, integrated environmental solutions to public administrations and private industry. Today, more than 5,000 companies place their trust in our services. We regard waste not simply as valueless garbage, but rather as a resource with a great potential for reuse and recovery, which will allow us to obtain new materials, energy, space and even biofuel. Our activities and environmental solutions always form part of the search to transform waste into a new resource.

highlights 2010 531 employees in Spain, the rest of Europe and Latin America 1,847,719 tonnes of waste managed, of which 23% has been treated in recovery plants 375,000 tonnes of decontaminated soil covering an area of 85,000 square metres 1,734,596 m3 of water treated, of which 8% is reused in the Group’s own facilities 47,245,126 kWh of renewable electricity produced, which has prevented the direct and indirect emission of 287,075 tonnes of equivalent CO2 (1) equal to the CO2 emissions arising from the domestic electricity consumption of 172,245 inhabitants (2)

(1) Calculated on the basis of the greenhouse effect that would have been involved in the direct emission of the biogas into the atmosphere and the avoidance of the electricity production emissions of a coal-fired power station.
