    Good Morning,

I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself as your Command Sponsor Coordinator and l et you know that

you have each been assigned a sponsor here at HSM-60. This email helps me ensure you have received material

from us prior to your report date. Attached are an installation overview and a guide for using the Military

Homefront website. This tool will help you prepare for the upcoming relocation and is better than any hardcopy welcome package. http://www.militaryhomefront.dod.mil /. Please share this with your family (if

    applicable).

If your current CCC has not yet notified you of your sponsor information please see your CCC and ask them to

verify the Career Information Management System (ClMS). We are mandated to use this website and I've

populated your sponsors name, email, and telephone number-there. Also it would help significantly i f you or

your CCC can update your "contac t info" in CIMS. You can do this via your Electronic Service Record (Self Serve

account). We (your sponsor and I) can then access your recall information that you have provided.

Please direct any questions to your Sponsor who is your designated mentor for the next few months to help you

get acclimated. To clarify, I am not your-sponsor; however, if you are NOT contacted by your sponsor or you havequestions that your sponsor can not answer, then please feel free to let me know. I'd like to avoid any

misunderstandings and/or correct any discrepancies early.

I cannot stress how very important it is that you and your sponsor communicate. The "Jaguars" (here at HSM-60)

take great pride in our sponsorship program and can only assist Sailors that accept sponsorship. We would like to

know once you have selected a report date. Please keep in mind that our work schedule changes due to various

factors like the: flight schedule, detachments, dr ill weekends, and compensation days. We would like to ensure

we are present and ready for your reporting.

Thanks for your time and we look forward to meeting you at check in. I've included additional info rmation

    below. Hope it helps.

    Our Ombudsman: M r s [ 6 b J is available to assist any family members throughout the relocationp r ~ r sas necessary a nd she can be co ntacted via the 1 1I wing: B , o r [

ou have been assigned as ADAN B sponsor and he is due to report NLT JUL 16. FYI he MAY report BEFORE thisate and it is important you coordinate with him to ensure that we are scheduled to work when he reports.

have attached a copy of this members orders. For privacy and security reasons, please control any hard copy/printed

ersions of the member's orders. Before you have initial contact with the member, update the Sponsor Agreement form by

ogging into https://nsipsprod.nmci.navy.mil NSIPS Self Service account and going to Employee Self Service Electronic

ervice Record>Tasks>Sponsor Agreement. Once accepted, you wi ll have the abili ty to view the members current orders

nd the completed Prospective Gain Questionnaire. You do not need a social to access the members profile. Leave area

lank and the member's information will display after you click submit.

You, the sponsor, are responsible for contacting the member . The quickest tool for initial contact is through global

address book via MS Outlook. Also another valuable tool is the utilization of social media such as Facebook and

Twitter. If all else fails, the attached orders listed the member's transferring command. You may call the duty office

and ask to speak to the member. Remember that you must establish contact with incoming personnel within 10

    working days of notification.

Once you have established communication with the member, have the member open and update the Prospective Gain

Questionnaire at any time by logging into their NSIPS Self Service account (the same location as E-Ieave) and going to

Employee Self Service>Electronic Service Record>Tasks>Gain Questionnaire. Information entered here will become

available for you to view. Ensure you follow through and ensure the member updates this information.

Please offer your assistance to the member and his or her family in any way possible. This includes selecting a mutually

agreeable location to meet the Sailor and/or family upon their arrival. Be sure to emphasize that you both need to

remain in communications and that you need to know when he/she is in the area.

You as the sponsor must contact your member **monthly**. Please obtain the incoming member's Navy and personal

email address and send to me so I can send the CMC's/CO's Welcome Aboard Letter.

**We have moved to Jacksonville and the member s orders reflect Mayport. Please make sure that they are aware

    of our new location.**

If you have any questions, don t hesitate to contact my office.
