Mikvah Construction Update The renovation of the Riverdale Mikvah is underway. Please keep in mind that

construction sites are potentially hazardous and that the safety fences around

the property are there for our safety and the safety of our children. Most

importantly, please ensure that children do not attempt to climb the fences or

otherwise attempt to access the construction area.

Exhibit on MACHAL @ The Bayit

The Bayit is honored to host the exhibit "Heroes from Abroad." This exhibit

tells the story of the North American volunteers who served in Aliyah Bet

and the IDF during Israel's War of Independence. The exhibit will be

displayed in the Bayit lobby through May 20th.

Thank you to Rick Feldman and his uncle, Simon Spiegelman,

Executive Director of AVILC (American Veterans of Israel

Legacy Corporation) for bringing this exhibit to the Bayit.

Zionist Christian group, on Friday, 5/27/2016 at 1:00pm in belated celebration of Yom Ha’Atzmaut, Israel Independence Day.

Iyov is a Bible scholar whose grandfather Prof. Abraham Ikuro Teshima founded the Makuya movement in 1948. He established

excellent relations with many Israeli leaders which led to the building of the Makuya Center in Jerusalem in 1988. Shlomit will sing

classic Israeli songs followed by a brief lecture and film presentation. Lunch served at 12:15pm: Spanish style roast chicken or

HEBREW HOME: L’DOR V’DOR INTERNSHIP: This four week program provides students with an opportunity to work

with our residents and develop meaningful relationships with them. In addition, our interns will learn about Jewish values and

attitudes towards aging and the elderly. Participants must be 15 years or older. The program runs from Tuesday, 7/5/2016 to

Friday 7/29/2016, Monday through Friday, 9:15am - 4:45pm. Interns must commit to volunteering for 20 hours during the

EZRA SCHWARTZ MEMORIAL LOOKOUT FUND: It is the desire of the family of Ezra Schwartz, z"l, the 18.y.o. boy who

was murdered recently in Israel, to build a memorial lookout for Ezra on the Boys' Promenade in Gush Etzion, near where he was
