All of My Friends (2011)
A series of averages, comprised of hundreds of Facebook profile pictures to create the end design. Photos were retrieved from my friends' Facebooks and averaged in Photoshop.
Photos were sorted into groups to investigate the differing nature of this process. On the opposite page is an average of 554 of my Facebook friends (all my friends at the time). Below is an average of the first 120 friends that had shown up on my news feed.

The photograph was taken in-studio using a Speedotron lighting system.The image was edited in Adobe Photoshop CS6.

Studio Problems (2012)
A course looking at issues that can arise in-studio and how to address them. Looking at tear sheets from magazines and other advertisements, we try to recreate these images to the best of our abilities. We work through all stages of production and are not allowed to use Photoshop.
