It seems another year at VIH Aerospace has flown by, and what a year it was. We began the year by completing a 9000 hour S-61 inspection, a Bell 205 refur- bishment, two Bell 407 refurbishments, and four NVIS conversions, all in the first couple of months. Spring saw us completing two more S-61 inspections with modifications for service in Afghanistan. Once the busy summer firefighting season began, we were kept hopping with AOG parts supplies, aircraft refinishing, and inspections. This Fall, our maintenance de- partment has been working long days completing an AS130 12-year inspection, another Bell 212 refurbishment, all the while keeping up with avionics upgrades and repairs. Throughout the year, our manufacturing department has been occupied turning out several custom machining pieces on our 5-Axis CNC machine, numerous bubble windows, sheet metal customization projects, as well as a variety of structural and sheet metal repairs. In the avionics department, its been a busy year as the team sup- ports all MMRO activities with upgrades, modifications, and repairs. Our component shop has also been busy with a mixture of gearboxes, rotor heads, flight controls, and drive shaft overhauls. I cannot forget to mention our engineering department as they continually support all departments with innovative engineering solutions as well as STC and repair developments. On the Trade Show scene, VIHA attended Heli-Expo (Las Vegas) in February, then MRO Americas (Orlando) in April, Helitech (Amsterdam) in October, HAC (Vancouver) in November, followed by the Canadian Aerospace Summit (Ottawa) in November. All of these shows and conferences provided an excellent opportunity to keep up with the latest happenings while renewing acquaintances, making new ones, and growing our business opportu- nities. Stay tuned in 2019 as we continue to grow and expand our business. Our AS9100 certification is on track for com- pletion Q1-19. Look for us at Heli-Expo in Atlanta along with other shows and conferences throughout the year. On behalf of everyone at VIH Aerospace, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to VIHAs success in 2018 and it is our wish to all of you for a safe and prosperous 2019. General Managers’ Address by Arne Arneson

Wow, where did 2018 go? It seems another year at VIH Aerospace has flown by, and what a

year it was. We began the year by completing a 9000 hour S-61 inspection, a Bell 205 refur-

bishment, two Bell 407 refurbishments, and four NVIS conversions, all in the first couple of

months. Spring saw us completing two more S-61 inspections with modifications for service

in Afghanistan. Once the busy summer firefighting season began, we were kept hopping

with AOG parts supplies, aircraft refinishing, and inspections. This Fall, our maintenance de-

partment has been working long days completing an AS130 12-year inspection, another Bell

212 refurbishment, all the while keeping up with avionics upgrades and repairs.

Throughout the year, our manufacturing department has been occupied turning out several custom machining

pieces on our 5-Axis CNC machine, numerous bubble windows, sheet metal customization projects, as well as a

variety of structural and sheet metal repairs. In the avionics department, it’s been a busy year as the team sup-

ports all MMRO activities with upgrades, modifications, and repairs. Our component shop has also been busy

with a mixture of gearboxes, rotor heads, flight controls, and drive shaft overhauls. I cannot forget to mention

our engineering department as they continually support all departments with innovative engineering solutions as

well as STC and repair developments.

On the Trade Show scene, VIHA attended Heli-Expo (Las Vegas) in February, then MRO Americas (Orlando) in

April, Helitech (Amsterdam) in October, HAC (Vancouver) in November, followed by the Canadian Aerospace

Summit (Ottawa) in November. All of these shows and conferences provided an excellent opportunity to keep up

with the latest happenings while renewing acquaintances, making new ones, and growing our business opportu-

nities.

Stay tuned in 2019 as we continue to grow and expand our business. Our AS9100 certification is on track for com-

pletion Q1-19. Look for us at Heli-Expo in Atlanta along with other shows and conferences throughout the year.

On behalf of everyone at VIH Aerospace, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to VIHAs success in

2018 and it is our wish to all of you for a safe and prosperous 2019.

All the Best in 2019
