Using the Evolution Dental Camera

Focusing the Dental Camera‐ Pre‐focusing the dental camera will help you  take clear pictures quickly and avoid causing the patient unnecessary discomfort.

Greatest focal length.  Use for full face/mouth images.

Mid‐range focal length.  Use for cap‐turing images of 3‐4 teeth.

Shortest focal length.  Use for macro images of a single tooth sur‐face.

Imaging Techniques ‐

• Steady the hand piece using a tongue depressor or  your fingers.

• Adjust the hand piece for the appropriate focal length  before placing it in the patients mouth.

• Fine focus the image by adjusting the distance between the object and the lens.

• Take several pictures of the object  and review them on the case viewer .  Save the best and discard the rest.
