The Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre was opened to the public in 1996 and since its establishment it has been standing out as an abode to the endangered wolf species. Within the area of 61,000 square metre (656,600 sq ft) in the Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre, the rare wolves will able to roam freely (approximately once a week). Most often, you will find them hanging out near the sightseeing area.

Operational Time

The Haliburton Forest remains open from the eve of Victoria Day (Long weekend of May) to the end of the Thanksgiving weekend from 10.00am to 5.00pm. Remember one important thing that, the last entry to the Wolf Centre is at 4.30am all the year around.
