By implementing three simple Carbon Trust recommendations, Haldex Brake Products Ltd could reduce their energy bills by £7k annually with a payback period of just 1 year
Haldex Brake Products Ltd develop and provide reliable and innovative solutions that improve safety, vehicle dynamics and environmental sustainability in the global commercial vehicle industry.
Following an application to the Carbon Trust Green Business Fund for an onsite energy assessment, paid for by the Green Business Fund, the Carbon Trust expert that visited the Haldex Brake Products Ltd.’s site reported that there were three key opportunities to save energy and associated carbon emissions.
The recommendations made are;
• Manage energy as a controllable resource
• Compressed air leaks survey and repair
• Upgrade lighting to LED
These recommendations have a combined capital expenditure of £6,700. They will payback within 1 year.
