4th generation family owned

1871 Founded by Carl Heinrich Hellmann in Germany

1960 Opening of a new headquarter branch in Osnabrück, Germany

1976 Hellmann is founding partner of DPD parcel service

1982 First Asian office opens in Hong Kong, followed by offices

throughout Asia

1987 Operations start in Australia, New Zealand, Canada

1988 Operations start in Mexico, US and South America
