Gudivada Municipal council always encouraging the girl education for setting up better society. The council conducted a programme called Badikostha to motivate the children for going school and to avoid discontinution of the education. As a part of the programme, Chirperson Sri Yalavarthy Srinivas Rao Garu and Commissioner distributed cycles to the girl children of the age above 13 years.”This was a encouragement for the girl student to continue her education said by Chairperson”.

The State Govt. scheme Deepam Padhakam successfully running in Gudivada Municipal Council. Chairperson Sri.

Yalavarthy Srinivasarao Garu distributed the LPG Cylinder and Stove to the BPL woman who don’t have the gas

connections till now. Expecting the LPG Cylinder and Stove leads great change in the beneficiary life in healthy way.

Smart change As a part of smart development and paperless system, Gudivada municipality adopted E office system. All

functionaries change their working style from paper to paperless. To decrease the responsive time and make all

the officials available, Gudivada Municipality has been distributed Tabs to its functionaries. Hence all the

functionaries can work from whenever and wherever there may be.

Free buttermilk and water Kiosk The summer heat waves seriously attacking the citizens for that precaution are taken by the Gudivada Municipality

by providing summer kiosk for distribution of butter milk and cool mineral water for all the citizens. The kiosks are

arranged at public places, commercial places, near educational and health institutions.
