What is Growth Leadership?

What becomes possible for me as a Growth Leader?

Growth Leadership is seeing every moment, interaction and change as an opportunity for learning, contribution and excellence. When

whole teams and organizations embrace Growth Leadership, we call it Growth Culture.

encourages curiosity and enables

innovation.

It creates an environment in which people

communicate clearly, honestly and with

respect.

A Growth Culture yields engagement,

retention and high performance.

Why Growth?

A recent Gallup study of 400 companies and 8,000 managers asked

how the world’s greatest managers find, focus and retain employees.

Six of the study’s twelve findings related to growth:

best work every day

2. Receiving praise for having done

good work in the last 7 days

3. Feeling my supervisor/someone

at work cares about me as a

person

4. Believing that someone at work

cares about my development

5. Talking to someone about my

progress in the last 6 months

6. Having opportunities to learn

and grow in the last year

“We are not even halfway through the Growth Leaders

Foundations Course and I have already applied several

of its concepts and what I have learned to personal

situations. These situations ranged from very serious (how to speak to my brother-in-law

who is dying of terminal cancer) to important (advice my daughter wanted about

her step father) to simple (how I responded to a clerk in the

store who made a mistake on our transaction). I am

convinced that because of my enhanced knowledge from this

course these situations had more positive outcomes as a

result. Taking this course is one of the best things I have done in my life because it is

helping me grow in every moment and in every

interaction.”

“I highly recommend this program to anyone who is interested in learning about the internal fears and obstacles that stand in the way of their own growth and success. I have learned powerful psychological techniques that I can apply in many situations. For example, I ask myself: am I being caught up in the “reptilian” instinctual reactions of fight/flight/freeze in situations, or am I trying to use my human, higher-order mindfulness and my growth mindset to observe and become free from my knee-jerk reactions.”
